Where to get filler.

I'm on my 5th or 6th footbag, and I'm realized that I basically ran completely out of filler lol, so I was wonderin' where else I could get some. I can buy the BB's I'm using, that's easy, but where do I get plastic pellets? I've been using pellets from my old crappy knitted consecutive bags. If there's other alternatives you others use for filler, I'd like to know.

Most craft stores sell what you need.

They are called Poly Pellets and are generally used for filling stuffed bears.

I got a massive bag for $7.

walmart has them. 3$ for a really big bag. enough to make 100+ bags.

Try a pet shop and buy those little rocks that are used in fish aquariums.

A better idea would be to AVOID ROCKS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

that is unless you want your bags to get holes REALLY fast.

It's really difficult to find small smooth pollished rocks, basically every aquarium rock is too jagged to be usefull and not bag-destroying.

I used them for a while and eventually completely gave up on them.

Good point, Tom. My Felixbag is filled with those tiny rocks and BBs and it's really ripped and glued at the moment. It looks like Two-Face, because the pentagons are intact and all the holes are in the hexagons.

EDIT: First when it was broken in it was superb, really loved the weight of it. Too bad it got "too broken in" so fast.

Yeah, i found that rocks gave a false sense of 'breaking in'.. really the bag is just breaknig.

I think Footfighters use a filler similar to jagged aquarium rocks (along with BBs/lead I think), but they feel like plastic. Can someone give me more info on them?

where can i buy the really small bb's used in abshires, theyr called lead shot i think? my mom tried the local craft store Michaels and they knew what she was talking about but didnt have it. anywhere i can buy those would be great.

A gun store, a WallMart that sells gun supplies, or the ideal place- A reloading shop, where they sell lead shot in containers instead of shotgun shells. Make sure to get 12 guage(sp) it's the perfect size.

whats the filling of Matt Emming ?? i got a 32 from him and it look likes lil rocks. does he use aquarium rocks or VERY VERY tiny bb's ?? id like to have some filler like he has

I second that, matt emmings filler is awesome. my favorite bag that I've stitched is mostly filled with it.

probably a pet supply store.. but that shit shreds bags pretty bad, i had only a few grams of it in one bag and the bag lasted perhaps a week of kicking.. it played super well for a couple sessions, like i couldn't believe how wonderful it was working. then it made my bag super crusty. now it's got like 10+ holes in it and it's crusty. keep that stuff away from ultrasude light you heathens. aquarium rocks are pretty good with faux suede in a 6 panel, cuz that material is cheap and 6 panels don't take any time at all. It plays.. but be warned.
