RCS IN DA CLUB
Hippie Dan, I only kicked with you once, but you were a good guy. Keep up the shred yo!
Foot still isn't completly healed, and I made it worse by tripping over a bench... Damn it.
I'll probably be out for a little longer than I thought, but this gives me a chance to look around for an indoor place / a job and such.
Once I get back on my feet, you guys better watch out!

No, you rule!
My foot is all better now! w00t. shred-age for the next week or so. But that isn't why I am here.
So I woke up at 3 in the afternoon today, after falling asleep at like... 2 in the morning, and I had some weird ass dreams. The first one was that I moved out, and was looking for furnature, and found a bunch of couches just sitting in someones yard. They were free, so me and a mysterious person took them. Then I woke up.
Fell back asleep, and I was at this guys house, and we were smoking pot.. Then my friend and I stole his girlfriends car and drove around. then BAM! we hit some guys car. Totalled the other dudes car. He was okay. Then we all (me, friend, and car accident guy) went and walked around, and smoked a lot. Then I got hit by a freaking van. Lame
The last dream was that I went to my grandmas house and she had an old-school nintendo hooked up, and duck-hunt was in the thing. So I played that, then this girl I am in love with came up and beat my score. Then she said that it was her house, and kicked me out. Uber lame
I think this means I should start kicking again.

So I played footbag yesterday, and found out that I have lost my osis. lame..
Still a good session. had some pretty lengthy strings, and tried some cool stuff.
one string i hit, the begining at least, stuck in my head. it was:
butterfly>Ripwalk>blur>symposium mirage>dimwalk>backside blur>then some tilt/guiltless stuff, but thats still insane i think. Especially cause the backside blur was on my flipside, and i've only hit it once
Worked a bit of whirls, then showed damien that drifters are really insanly close for me. Oh and I tried some spinning, and some double down stuff.
Pretty epic for a session coming back from an injury.. basically.

Dude!!! Fatty run!!! I would have gone crazy if I saw you hit that, I bet it looked sweet. Have fun on Saturday, and happy birthday, man! Call me tomorrow anyway, but I remembered I already made some plans about a week ago with my other homey. Perhaps we can reschedule doing the to a later date.
Peace sucka,
Peace sucka,
So, that session I had was a total fluke. I just got done playing and I couldn't really do anything. It might be the bag, it might be the carpet i played on, or I just might be rusty, who knows. So instead of dropping and stuff, I decided to do......
REPITITION!!!!!!
Fun times, which means i'm going to do a lot of that, so I get better, and un-rusted.
All I really did was 2-adds, mostly cause its the basis of everything.
50 legovers
50 pick-ups
50 clipper>op clipper
50 clipper>same clipper (50 more on flipside)
then 25 mirages both sides
I plan on doin' this for the next few days, then go up to BOP stuff, then throw in pixie stuff, stepping stuff, then work on whirls, drifters, and atomic sets all over again!

Just got some g-units... Very interesting shoes. It's sort of like a cross section between Lavers and 300's with a shitty toe space and a completely ridiculous instep (I now understand all complaints of people cheating using these shoes -- these things are hilarious!!! it's concave!!
).
Regardless, if I can either get used to the toe or figure out a way to cheat the toe I think I will. I'm on the verge of being lame and cutting of the walls so I can pixie as well as I can in my lavers... I'm not about to play to some silly elitist standard if I can't enjoy myself. I kind of want to take the Nate road and get really good at all of the easy moves anyway so I can just string and string all day, so I have no real qualms with these shoes being obscenely easy to stall in. However, one form enhancing thing I like about these shoes is that they make sliding on your toes as you spin instead of using actual footwork harder which makes stuff like inspinning/double spinning easier imo, same with spinning ducking.
In other news I'm taking a week or so more off of footbag to let muscles rebuild from having shredded so hard over the past couple months. Much yoga, icing, and working out ahead.
Play and have fun!!

So basically the G-Units rock the house. My only issue with them is that the heel isn't super, super snug... But if I play in them barefoot that sort of remedies itself. I had a really fun session today and was generally going off pretty well. The G-Units really let me relax my game a lot and play more smoothly. Pixies are still a little frustrating with the toe on g-units, but hopefully some pixie drills will help me reaclimatize myself to them. g-g-g-gee uniiit!

g-units are super happy fun time 100%!!!!
Results from an illin' solo seshin':
- 23x ripwalk
- 16x strong spinning clipper (14x flip)
- 3x spinning ducking clipper bs (already my record, but it was cool to tie it after a couple tries each side)
- 30+ dexless
- 100x butterfly
- was bsosing sooo many new downtime moves I've been hitting
* also hit double spinning clipper bs, toe inspinning clipper bs, and 22x gyro clipper a day or two ago in some short ad hoc laver sessions -- for me the key to harder spinning moves has been pirouettes in juggling!
I think the key to shredding through my screwy hip has been to not play two days in a row, stretch stretch stretch, and use tiger balm after sessions. Also being smart about warming up very slowly has been really fun and beneficial.
peace out sucker bitch MCs and MCettes,

When do we get to see video of you Sam?
Ive heard lots of great stuff about your style and stuff, I wanna see it!
I tried g-units for a little and they didn't do much to sway me from my beloved climas. I guess I didn't really give em much of an honest shot, I just LOVE my climas!

Sam!!! YOu rock, and have inspired me to try a pair of G-units next pay check. This clipper thing sounds like what I want, but then again what I need and what I want are too different things

Nick!!! Thanks for the props, man. The clipper rail is fun, but with your form I don't know why you'd need it.
Looking forward to the next time we shred! I know you'll be shredding me under the table by then, but at least I'll be able to hold down with my juggling.
I'm hoping to come hang out down in P-town in February, but we'll see how that goes.

Me??? FORM?!?!?! Haha, good one man, but seriously, you're the one with awsome form! I wish I could shred like you and your complete both sided-ness. About 90% of my big moves are one sided, but I'm working on that
Call me if you end up coming down, I can arang a sesh with the P-town crew (maybe even Kenny Shultz?)
