To the Hyatt
Directions
Parking
Parking in the hotel lot is expensive. You can park across the street (I believe this is LOT A) just to go the event and its much cheaper, BUT you can't park there overnight. Many people have usually found parking on the side streets nearby, but it is difficult and you must watch for the no parking signs. I have always found a spot on the side streets nearby (but once had to park 5 blocks away).

This map is of the hotel. The side street just north of it (Calumet Ave.) is a good spot to start looking for parking.

Public Transport
Check http://www.yourcta.com/ system maps and trip planner links. Also check http://www.rtachicago.com/.

Some suggested directions:
Blue Line: Take to Jackson.
Brown Line: Take to Adams.
Orange, Green and Red Line: Take the train to Roosevelt.

Then: Walk to Michigan Ave. Take the # 3 KING DRIVE SOUTHBOUND. There are a few different buses on michigan, so be sure to note the number on the bus. Also check the sign on the corner to make sure #3 stops there; you may have to walk to the next corner to find it.

The above are suggestions, I have not taken them. I looked for optimal direction, and confirmed those buses run at the appropriate times.

Metra
Email/PM me if you need help with this.

To the Event
Map of Hotel and Convention Center with clickable links
The entrance to the actual convention center is located by the big driveway next to the hotel entance. If you're in the hotel walk through it, pass the elevator, pass the store, pass Networkx restaurant, then you will enter the convention center. You will see these stairs
http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/2368
Go up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Sports will be to your left and right. I think we're usually to the right. Walk to the tables and grab a map of the sports layout and look for footbag.

Please post/PM/email me any other questions/comments.

When people arrive they should bring enough FOOD for the afternoon, theres grocery stores and fast food north of the hotel. The venue sells some sandwiches and pizza but its way overpriced(5.00 a small slice 8O ) Bottled water is free.

Im so freaking ready for this event, The past month has been so so slow waiting for this event to come around.

The key for the next 3 days will be red bull, im gonna be working from 4am to 11pm (without a break) and driving straight to mckormik place, im doing this in hope to get enough work done to completely take friday off of work and teach you fools how to do a beer bong like a man thursday night

cant wait to see you all, cant wait to buy my first 32 panel bag.

good times are ahead!

I have even elected not to shred much the past 3 days to keep my legs nice and fresh for the 3 days of hell im about to put them through.
