I got a new cell that can take video clips of horrible quality, so I felt like putting a little something together. Sadly, not footbag, just juggling. I'll see how the phone likes footbag tomorrow. Anyway, have a gander. The format is ridiculous, but if you have the latest QuickTime you can play them no problem.

Blam:

edit: just fyi there's a lot of crap in there, but there are a couple pretty representative "busts"... I usually don't mess up that much but hey, I'm a little camera shy. :)

I've got the latest version of QuickTime and it works for me... If you do a search for .3gp you could probably find what you need, although the latest version of QT should do it.

The jig is up! ;)

Who wants to have a session... tomorrow? Or Thursday?

Also, RCS dinner party is in the works. Should be next week sometime, if based loosely around Miles' schedule. Any confirmed attendees/ideas for a place to eat? Kimi threw down the idea of Araya's, which I support 100%. A cool Moroccan place or something would be pretty illin, too. Thoughts?

Peace!

Dinner sounds good, as long as its cheap, since I have almost no money. Ever. hah.

So, that run I posted afew posts ago was pretty sloppy, but I still hit it. It made me think though. I should probably start playing in different shoes. That way, I could relearn everything, and possibly have better form and such when I play...Then BAM! I'm playing in Climacools now.
I'm gonna relearn everything, and the stuff I never learned when I should have learned, i'm gonna learn now.

So far tonight. I schooled legovers for 20 minutes straight, took a 5 minute break, and went to pick-ups for 20 minutes since I never learned those really.
At first, it was kinda hard to do them in these, but I got the hang of it... Except for on pickups, those are a bit tough at the moment.
I'm probably gonna go to mirages and clippers then work on illusions for a little and call it a night. Then tomorrow go in reverse!

I challenge you to hit 60 tiltless before you go back to guiltless shred. :)

I hate my style. How come people like my style??? It's the worst style. It's so choppy and flowless. It's ugly!!! Come on people! I'm going to take steps to develop flow like Jason Crook from 99... I'm going to keep doing the moves I like, but I need flow! I have pretty similar windows to him and he has great flow, so might as well hook it up. I need some ClimaCools again. Shredolution.

I'll take that challenge guy.

And Kevin is right dude, you have a very flowy style. Stop dissing on it hardcore, just accept it; you have great style. Still awesome that your gonna keep working on it for even more flow.

Yeah. I just woke up so... i'm still tryin' to get my composure and such.

- food processor bs
- spinning blender bs
- close on flip blazing butterfly... but not quite.
- worked a bunch of 5>5's... still no 3 fearless. Either super consistent 5>5's or more than 2 5's in a row will happen at one of the next sessions, for sure.
- groove armada is the shit to kick to
- Justin and I are going to try and hit up a yoga class

-blurriest bsos
-spinning whirl bsos
-blazing legover bsos
-blazing butterfly bsos
-blaze (os -- footed flip)
-janiwalker (os -- again, footed flip)
-16 tripless
-hit both food processors again 2nd try each side
-solid runs today... everything except my easy gyro moves and swirls was feeling good today

Really fun session with Justin and Ricky near Ricky's house at some unlocked junior high school gym. Sort of felt like a Rain City Shred year in review shred. Justin was -on-. He hit blurry whirl>ripstein bsos, which was quite ill. Normally I wouldn't post his stuff but I felt like that was pretty worthy since it's a milestone for him. Ricky was coming off not shredding for a month but he still threw down all right.

Until next time... maybe I'll be posting in here more regularly, maybe not. On the one hand I don't want to talk myself up or anything but on the other hand I do want a log of my history in shred that I can look back on eventually.

I don't think Sam has a flowing style. I think it's kinda choppy too. Still really sick though.

Bleh....

First day back at school after afew months, and only got an hour or so of sleep.
I was fine until my last class dragged in. I just got way to tired,
so I started drawing pictures of stick figures hitting cool tricks.. Then I thought about kicking. Damn rain. Couldn't find a dry/warm/indoor place, so i went to this chinese restruant with Ryan and we got some food. It was cool, cause i i was telling him about the different kinds of adds you can get in footbag and all that, and yeah. great times.

First off, props to you Sam. I say if you don't like your style... CHANGE IT! It takes a while, but it's worth it, I had to change mine. I think your style kick's ass personally, but who cares what other people think? You have to like your style above all else!

P.S. 16 tripless?!?! you bastard, I just made my record 10 the other day and now I see that post! I must go back to work on it, lol

Gonna try starting a club down here at Mountlake Terrace Highschool, and then get one going at Edmonds Community College to spread the word/have a place to kick indoors!
Watch out footbag, here comes the Suburbia Shredders!!!!!

Haven't done much except for thinking about starting this club. That about does it.
