Here are the bags I am bringing to Rochester, minus two of them though.

The top-left one is moving to Denmark with Lise, the next one over is the prize bag, the orang and black one is moving to Switzerland with Flaaaavio and the other five are for sale!

these are the same bags as i posted before, but I finally gained access to a decent camera. I like the yellow/black bag a lot. I tried a new patttern for the blue/black, i dont like that one too much. the stitching turned out really good, but I think it looks too generic. anyway i want to start selling, do these look good enough yet?

The thing about selling is that you want to take the time to break in several of your bags to the point of destruction to really know what kind of product you are making.

Looking good is one part of it, but you really have to experiment and try out several styles until you have really defined what it is you want out of a bag and make sure you can make that. If you are at that point then a good way to get into 'bag exchange' is to trade bags with some other up and coming stabbers. This is both good fun and a good way to see a whole lot of different style bags to give you perspective on different ways that bags can be made. Lots of different methods produce a 'good' bag, you just have to find one that works for you.

You can start selling bags for less-than-pro prices at first if you want, but be honest with yourself about how professional of a product you are making when deciding on a price.

I hope that is some helpfull info for getting into selling.

rt now, im stitching my 8th bag and my next one is gonna be in ultrasuede, ill post pix of them when they will be done. and then, let me know if you are up for a trade

i know how the yellow one plays when broken in, but i havent broken in the blue one(which is a different pattern than the yellow). yea im still experimenting a bit with patterns. Ive found that patterns size ratio (hexs shape and size vs pent shape/size) have a lot to do with bag appearence and play, prolly as much as the actual stitching does. anyway, im going to trade with josh rayne when i get back from my trip.

Near the corners though, be careful to place your stitches more precisely and uniformly.

I think you may have used the wrong side of the facile on the white-ish panels... They are pilling. But the stitching looks pretty fantastic and even.

Yes, my bad

. The next bag I posted is also not good then, because I ended it before my friend gave me a photo of this break-in bag.
