Hello modified footbaggers!
I would like to annouce the 4th official JFK (Just for Kicks) New Zealand footbag jam. Previously it has been held in Wellington, New Zealand, but in February 2006, it will be here in Dunedin.
The date of the Jam will be from Friday 17th of February till the Sunday 19th of February. It will be held either in the Octogon, Unipoll, or Clubs and Socs building depending on weather conditions. Here are the activities that are planed:
Friday 17th 6-9pm: Everyone meets one another and we play some footbag!
Friday 17th after 9pm: To the pubs or the hotel/back home, which ever is your preferance!
Saturday 18th 1pm-5pm: Unofficial sick1 and sick3 competitions, loud music, plenty of shreding. What more do you need?
Saturday 18th 5pm-7pm: Footbag dinner at a nice restaurant.
Saturday 18th 7pm: To the pubs or back to the hotel/home for some sleep or more footbag!
Sunday 19th 1pm-5pm: Final footbag session and goodbyes to those flying home.
I will organise cheep accomodation for all who are interested. Flights to Dunedin should still be pretty cheep at the moment. It will be great to see everyone there!
There may not be any NZ nationals for 2006, so this is our chance to get together and meet new players/ reunite with old friends.
Please post or email me if you will be coming or if you have any concerns about the event. This will only be happening if there are enough people showing up, I can't afford to host an event for 5 people, so please reply soon!
