i had a pair of black lavers, but i made the mistake of getting them in stiched leather, so they were made heavy, i dont think those will be too heavy, but i would like to know as well, they are sweet though

I plan on walking in them!

Matt, I modded Jack Wei's black lavers and they were the exact same shoe as any other laver. Dye doesn't weigh anything!

And weight doesn't really matter because I don't plan on shredding in these. I just wanted super stylish walking shoes that I can hack in.

Well Matt moved out today. Glad that is over with, what a wierd turn of events.

I am still in Oakville (3.5 hours from Kingston) at my parents place. It is the ideal location for getting chubby. All I do is sit on my ass all day watching TV, stitching bags and cuddling my cat and dog and then I drink beer all night.. every night.

At least Ive started doing situps.. maybe that will help.. er something.

I got to hang out with Peng the other day and it was friggen sweet.

Lotus, my cat, FUCKING HATES my dog!

I have convinced them to be civil.. kinda. I have spent a few successful nights with them both in my bed. Bosco (my dog) takes up the whole bottom half of the bed and Lotus snuggles somewhere around my face, it's quite cozy on a tiny single bed.

She keeps attacking him for NO reason, it's so funny to see her arch her back to try to look all big and imposing to him when he is like.. 100000% bigger than her. But he's such a baby! He whiiiines when she beats him up, hahaha.

Animals!

im glad that whole thing got resolved. i was just thinking earlier about how that worked out. you should play a ton of footbag at your mom's

Merry Christmas, Mosh. We started this year together at Chilly Philly, filled it up with all the footbag and fun and partying that we possibly could, and now we're ending it at my tournament. Thanks for being such a huge part of an incredible year, and thanks for being my best friend. I'll never forget all the amazing (mind blowing!) experiences I had with you and your fiber-optic sea anemone. (stick your face in it! oooooooo! okay, shake it! ooooooooo!!!! try lifting it up and down so it undulates! OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!)

We had some great times. I can't wait to have some more... See you in a few days :D

Hahahahah!! Thanks for the great post Matt!

This year really has been incredible and you've been a big part of it!
There were tons of ups and downs but I guess that it was all worth it because I am SO stoked with where I am at now and things wouldn't be the way they are now if not for all the things that happened in the past.

We've gone on some amazing footbag journeys and 'mind journeys' of a huge variety of sorts, thanks for being someone so cool that I can trust and depend on, I like being that guy for you too. :)

Good times. :D

Merry Christmas all!!

I hope you've all enjoyed reading my blog, it's been a frigging trip!

Today I went shopping with Peng in Toronto.

I got a BAD ASS new leather jacket!

Check this out, as Peng had discovered, there were TWO stores that sell MESH ROD LAVERS! The first one had em for $99 which was too steep for me, but then the second one had white/green ones for $69 with 30% off!! what what!!

I couldn't resist and I bought them, I am now wearing a crisp new pair of lavers, ooooh yeahhhhh, all modded and shit.

Peng got these RIDICULOUS but amazing boots too, they are Roos and the model name is "Ghetto Youth Velcro", she looks like she's 8 in them.
Peng is so amazing, hanging out with her is always so fun.
She took me to this sweet Korean BBQ place where you get all you can eat meat!! There is a grill right in the table and they bring you pre-marinated meat and you grill it yourself, SO good.

I love Peng!!!!

I am so happy I met her, what a frigging trip! :D :D :D

Ooohhh kay, here goes, RAHCHESTAH NEW YEARS 2005/2006!!

My journey started out bright and early but kinda shakey, after picking Peng up and meeting up with Dan Cyr at my house I engaged in a little too much physical exertion (sp? don't care) on an empty tummy and I got all vomitty feeling and woozy. I went to my basement to get blankets for sleeping at matt's place and when I got down there I had to rush to the toilet to alllllmost puke, I got these crazy cold sweats and my head was spinning and I collapsed on the ground and laid there for a while with my pants around my ankles until I felt strong/not-barfy enough to get up and make my way back upstairs.

I plunked down on a couch and wrapped myself in blankets and tried to get over the pukey feelings. Peng did what Peng is good at and she took real good care of me, she went and made me breakfast to rejuvinate me so that we could finally get on the road. Peng is the best, ever.

We piled all our crap into my mom's Forester and took to the road, yippee!

The ride went real smoothly and we only got lost a couple times. We spent over an hour pissing about Rochester once we'd gotten there and discovered that exit 15 no longer existed and our plan to get off at the next exit and figure it out was very flawed. Eventually we gave up and called Matt and he got us pointed in the right direction and soon after we wound up at Matt's house. When we walked in it was a sweet sight! There were a whole bunch of cool people I'd met before, a bunch I'd never heard of and a bunch I'd been looking forward to meeting.

They were sock shredding in Matt's living room and it was good fun to watch. I think Aric hit frantic dod, that's sick. I wonder how many other people are pushing their frantic sets? Ive been drilling quantum alot, maybe I can frantic well now?

I pulled out my bag of bags that I had stitched and they all sold in like.. 10 minutes or something retarded like that. I shoulda made more!

The next few hours are kinda a blur, eventually we got the word that we were supposed to head to Bush Mango to get the shredding started! The event site was really cool! Big and open with nice hardwood floor, good-enough lighting and an awesome vibe to it. I don't remember who I played with or what I/anyone hit but I remember that it was a blast.

At some point I looked over and saw someone that looked just like Ken Somolinos, I asked Matt "Hey, did you know that Ken was coming?" "Ken who?" "Ken Somolinos!" then I bolted over to him, jumped clear over two rows of chairs and enthusiastically greeted him. What a fucking surprise!! I was so excited to see him, I really had no idea when I'd get to shred and hangout with Ken again, this was so unreal and awesome! I played with Ken several different times over the period of the jam and I was stoked that he liked my bag. He used my Felix at world's in competition and I was VERY flattered when he asked to use one of my bags to compete with in Rochestah.

There were lots of really impressive shredders there. Willie Digges was busting hein as usual, stuff like fury, repeating blurry whirls and PIXIE PARATOXIC! 8O Chris Dean is soooo stylish and smooth and talented, I really like him. He's cool and nice and modest and at the same time really interesting and funny. Pat McGurran won the bag that I donated, he is gonna be really good too, lots of talent and he's so smart and cool for his age (for any age really).
Jorden was a sicky-poo the first day and hardly played and didn't compete, he looked really under the weather. He won a bag of mine in Chicahgo and he picked a sweet grey/gobstopper one.
The hardcore hackysackers from Buffalo came too! These guys are a real anomoly, they come out to lots of footbag tournaments, they KNOW about freestyle and 32's and lavers and all that.. yet they stick to the hacking! Albiet they are good hackers.. but like.. who the hell is a hardcore hackysacker?? How can they not feel the pull to try tricks and bust and shit? Oh well, they seem happy doing what they're doing so good for them!

The free red bulls kicked ass! I need to get myself sponsored by redbull, that'd rule. Big props to matt for pulling in that sweet sponsor.

Around 11 something we packed up our shit and left Bush Mango and headed to matt's place.

End of part 1, I have to go to class!
