Memories from today/tonight. Shred, shred , shred fried chicken shred fuel. Matthieu and Kolo circles. Breaks to smoke, shred contest. Shred shred shred, kicked out. Hang out and then search for Jorden and Johnny shredding in hotel. Threat of arrest from security= retreat to hotel room. Poker, footbag fight, Tim owns the poker game. Drive home= red and blue lights

expired plates (DUI little did he know) cant find insurance proof

Um yeah i guess to sum it up probably the best 3 days of my life, If thats exaggeratting it was hands down the best 3 days of the year.

My last impressions of these 3 days are:

Practice MORE!!!

Competing in shred 30 is so hard

Emily (AKA moxie) is as awesome of a person as she seems on the boards in person

Jorden Moir + Johny S + Jeremy Mirken = a shit load of tricks that were to crazy for me to name or even understand

Tim Werner should get a paid trip to germany and do comentation at worlds

I love 32 panel bags

I love footbag

Dont throw things at zeke

Every footbag tournement needs a mirage 15 yard race

I learned one important lesson to take with me throughout my life, Dont trust french canadiens they are wacky. Mat and kolo are freaking unpredictable and funny as hell.

Alot more can be said and will be said by all

This event was amazing all of you who missed this will be stuck watching videos looking at pics and reading our stories which can no way give these 3 days justice!!!

I have to agree with Shawn that the past 3 days were, hands down, the funnest days ever!! I can't believe that NYJ is over already! I met so many new people! Thanks to the CIC for making this event the best one that I've ever been to!

I'm really sad that the event is over and am gonna miss everyone who attended! We had an awesome time during the past 3 days! I hope I can shred with all those people again real soon! For those of you who didn't show up, I'm sorry that you missed out on such a great event!

This event was GREAT. Major props to Mike Hansen. If something or someone had to get from point A to point B, Mike got it done. No questions, no complaints - just done - believe it.

I hope my 2 new friends, Mathieu and Kolo are having just as good at time in Rochester as they did in Chicago. Kick some 4 square ass and get some sleep guys!

I want to give extra props to the following:

Tom, Zeke, riely: for the hardwork, time, and effort that went into the hotel room, T-Shirts, Food, Player recruiting, and more

Jorden, Johny S, Emily, Brad Nelson, John Mahood, Bob glasser,Jeremy Mirken, Dan Koklow,Dat,Amelia, Greg Nelson, All the players from michigan/wisconsin Who traveled a good distance for this event.

FTB club (Eric Siegel, Reid S, Will Rockey) For competing against some of the best North american players showing that IL has some serious talent on the rise, Way to represent chicago guys!

The players who took time off from the festivities to score the sick 30 comps

Kolo, Jake/Josh, Mike Hansen, Jeremy Mirken, Zeke, Tom Mosher, and Peng. For providing plenty of hand stiched 32 Panel bags for sale/donation. I love my footfighter

Keep a look out for a lengthy post in my fizzied blog, but here's a short one to tide you hungry fizzieders over.

I had an amazing three days. My favorite aspect of the jam was how many new people I met and how many of them were genuinely nice people. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with each of them.

On the first day, I probably shredded the hardest. For most of it, I was in a circle with Johnny S. and Jorden, with others such as Greg Nelson and Reid Strellner hopping in and out. That was amazing. I felt bad though because of my lack of circle hopping. Thus, I decided on the 2nd and 3rd days to shred with everybody, or at least pop my head into every circle. I think I nearly completed my goal, which was awesome considering the massive amount of people who attended (at least 60 I'd say . . .?). I was extremely impressed with the level of play from the FTBers (Future of the Bag), each of whom had good style and could throw down some hardcore strings.

It was great to see all my CIC friends again, although because of the sheer number of people and my interest in getting to know Johnny and Jorden a bit better, I didnt spend as much "alone-tme" with CIC as I would have liked. NYJ also afforded me the opportunity to reunite with Brad Nelson, whom I hadn't seen since an LA film shoot, and Bob Glasser, whom I hadn't seen since 2002 worlds

I also got to meet John Mahood, who was probably more excited to meet me than I was him (and i was excited to meet him!). Funny when that happens. It was great to see all three of them together and it was totally easy to see why they are all good friends.

Hehe, I got to meet HenryG! I came up to him in a circle and pretended that he was Jim Penske, but I'm not sure how amused he was by that. It was inspiring to meet Jorden, who seemed really down to earth and mature. he was always busy doing something though, which was pretty funny to me. The two people i got to know best at this jam were Matthew Gauthier and Johnny Suderman. I pictured Matt as a tall, skinny, lanky skateboarder from his avatar, but he wasn't like that at all! He was very nice and had some very interesting stories to share about his experiences in Gabon. We both know Fletcher Funk as well, which is pretty coincidental. Matt seemed much more genuine that Kolo, whose commentary and antics were always tricky and deceptive, in a good and funny way or course

He was nice too. Thanks for the footfighter. Johnny S- what can I say . . . humble, nice, intelligent, great to hang around and fun to be with- a new friend for sure. I was constantly impressed by his shred skills, which were completely, COMPLETELY off the hook insane-like mad crazy. Nuclear diving on command? 69 from anything? Alpine like a frikkin mountaineer!

Jorden was amazing at footbag. I had these super high expectations for his game after watching his session videos, and he nearly lived up to them. He really is very good at footbag and his attidude and determination to be the best he can be at every aspect of the game is quite awe-inspiring.

I had a lot of fun with you jeremy. The tips you gave me on symp toe whirl have helped a lot! Crotchfire was so great. thanks for introducing me to the CFL!

I was real impressed that you hit whirring swirl in sick 1, and clean too! And i think Mike's cell phone will thank you if you never try and hit whirr with it again

Another great adventure we had was saving jorden's takraw. Although jorden didnt care, we got it. God it was so funny.

There was loads of fun!

It's in my top 2 events ever with SJFF, I don't picture myself not returning next year!

It was nice to meet everyone there, A lot of good memories, and can't wait to see you all again, even tough it may take a long time for those not going to worlds!

What can I say? For most people the fun stopped when the event ended. For me it was this morning when the last few people crashing at my place left for home.

The last 6 days were absolutley unbelievable. I can't even begin to put to words how much fun I've had with all of you that I've met, played with and partied with. My thanks to all of you for making this event the most memorable experience of my life, and probably a couple others too.

Dude every intermediate that participated choked in my opinion, Im pretty sure it was the first time for most of us to compete center stage like that.

All i know is next years intermediate comp should be awesome especially if more people partake and the same people compete again it should be some major competition with alot less drops.
