How long does it take until your 32 is fully broken in?

Who's the stitcher and how long?

Also-do you employ any special break in procedures?

my first and only 32 panel is my abshire a910 mini...its been about 3 months since ive had it and its finally broken in. I was also constantly massaging it in my hands, basically whenever my hands were free i had it in them. I would sit in every class and just massage it and break it in...it took a really long time to break in, but its amazing now and it was worth the wait sooooo much.

Mine are playable same day, and maybe 3-5 days to become choice. Templates, filler, and color variant of facile attribute to this.

I don't have an official record of how long my bags last though. I haven't made enough of them yet. I'll keep you posted.

Every bag has a completely different life, even if it's made by the same stitcher with the same material.

Most bags are ready to shred somewhere between 6 days and 6 months.

I'd rather play w/ a mr than give myself tendonitis breaking in a bag for 3 months.

most 32's don't even take a week to become playable (at least for toe tricks), if it takes 3 months to break a bag in you are doing more work than the stitcher.. is it really worth the price? Minis and bags with a lot of gather take the longest to break in, sometimes they die before the prime of their lives

Run over a Sipa Sipa with a car, that will break one of those in immediately

My bags usally become decently playable in about 3 days and choicness in 2 weeks. ive found the best way to break a bag in (at least for mine) is to get the bag soaked (water) and kick around with it a bit and let it dry on its own. when it drys out, roll it in your hands until all the stiffness goes away. i do this a lot, not to break them in,but simply to play. i play outside and the grounds usally wet.

Off topic: did anybody see the norcal storm on the news? im curious if it was on any other news stations than mine. I was right in the middle of the storm. 95 MPH gusts, i lost power for 5 days

Interesting, could you explain this further? If you continue playing with a bag with holes isn't a never ending struggle to patch holes after ever session.

It all depends on how you use your bags, and on what surface.

break in times do vary. I make some bags to be fairly broken in in a week's time. Other I make should take a month or more. I think it is all about what the customer desires and what the customer specifies upon ordering. A good stitcher should know that looser gathers generally means a faster breakin, but also possibly lesser bag life.

I take pride in the fact that every bag I stitych is a bit different. I try never to make two bags exactly the same. I think it is because my idea of the perfect footbag is always changing. The perfect footbag is not fully broken in upon being bought. That would take away the fun of the break-in process, which when performed correctly, is a blessed, fun, exciting experience. Break in should not be rushed.

i have been able to break in my bags in about a month. at least break them in so they are super playable, they then get choice.

Break in times do vary indeed, as weather and climate do take a toll on your bag's lifespan. If the air's pretty humid, I would guess there would a shorter break-in time for bags compared to colder seasonal changes.

I would estimate about a week in these terms, i guess.
