big breakthrough for me,

i FINALLY started hitting paradon, really clean too it just like came to me after 2 months of randomly smacking the bag into all parts of the room.
if only id have the same breakthrough with torque, one thing that really blows about playing alone; i cant even tell what im doing wrong (ive probably hit about 5 total both sides and no idea how ).

also messed with some easy trial-type stuff, toe set and clipper set butterfly off a bench. ill try harder stuff tomorrow (i wanna try stuff OVER the bench, anyone have a vid of anything like that? it's kinda hard to visualize).

ps while writing this i decided to try blender (never hit before ever, just failed miserably) after watching sam's vid again, and noticing how you really look like you do a whirl and change your mind right in the middle, then i went and hit it clean both sides after about two tries i blame you sam :D

blender and paradon, wow best night ive had in months

wow, funny part again, I just hit my first two blenders too (man I wish I hit blender the same day I started doing paradons), only one side though. Also "spyro" mirage and flipside toe whirl a few times, which aside from a few lucky blurry whirls is the first non-regular-whirl whirl trick (what a mouthful). Thats 4 firsts in one day, neat. Lets see if I can do more...

Yesterday, had a hour long shred WITH pants. I hit Tapping Reverse Whirl for the first time. And a run with 6 paradons (equal on both sides, usually nothing special, but in pants it's something).

I also hit a strange new move, I can't really say what it was, but I believe it to just be a styley, slurred move. It was Paradox Tapping Osis without planting on the Tap, so it looks like (front spin) osis with a butterfly type dex before.

wow, thats neat and abstract.

I finally hit my first 5>5 today. Matador>sumo. I'm getting that nuclear shit down good. Now, if I can only do that a few more times and learn to nuclear off a ducking butterfly, I'll be able to phoenix/fuckingbutterfly > Matador > sumo.

EDIT: I also hit many smogs and flogs today as combo starters and hit pdx drifter for the first time mid run.

LATER: I just now was practicing barrage, which I oly started being able to hit at all like 1:5 too weeks ago and tonight did 4 in a row with butterfly's linking them. all same side though, working on other side now. Also, with that came terrage on flipside, which now, with a little work, is stronger than my main one for the moment, because it sucks. :-) such a good footbag day, my 2 partners from school went nuts today at the club meeting as well. great day.

Today, I hit pixie same symposium mirage. I hit it all sticky. Sticky with honey. Honey is Bee Sauce. B sauce sounds like B.S.O.S. that means both sides one string.

I started kicking again this week and smacked some triple dex ass. Today I hit flipside smog, flipside pixie same dlo, stepping swirl, and stepping butterfly swirl for the first time, and last thursday I hit fusing same mirage, fusing same butterfly, flipside flog, philabuster (boo-ya), and some flip pdx blenders. Not to mentions a bunch of 2 and 3 contact strings, take that one!

Wow this topic is huge! There's like 18 pages of it now.
In the past couple of days I finally started hitting real good stepping, atomic, and nuclear sets. Also a couple days ago I hit some symp whirls and my fist five, Fairy Ducking Butterfly, and the day after that I hit nuclear butterfly. No big deal I guess but there it is

I dunno man, xbod heel set whirling heel is a pretty tough move to shame. If there is one surface that I would like to see people use more it would be cross body heels, they are SOOO hard especially in old skool lavers. Nice job. Props also to the Chan, both mobius, both pdx torques, you truly are the mack daddy of footbag. It's so great when you learn a new move and then hit it from a bunch of sets in one day.

I didn't really kick today so i can't brag with you guys, but I did hit clipper BSOS in my new BLUE lavers that came in today 8O
