Ugh if you think im gonna hit paradox wihrl flipside anytime soon you will be very dissapointed.

Im just now getting comfortable hitting flipside whirl let alone do any harder version of it, but non the less i appreciate words of motivation but im realistic to know that im far from hitting Paradox whirl flipside

And no i still cant hit pixie whirl, My flip pixie is strong and deep but i dont plant as fast as i do with my strong pixe so that little bit of extra time makes it impossible to seal pixie whirl. sometimes i will get the dex cleanly and by the time my clip foots in position for the delay its to late.

Im getting really close to hitting DLO from toe and think if i practice it enough i could start hittting drifter bs. As cool as it would be to add those tricks to my tricks i can hit list, it would be alot cooler to just keep imporving with the tricks i can hit, i mean i have only been playing this sport for a year i need to stop rushing and stop thinking quanity and start think quality. I have successfully been doing this and you all will notice much longer run lenght with an even amount of 2s and 3s bs's but as always theres still room for improvement (thats what makes the sport fun)

I made a discover

Toe whirl is easier than whirl from clip.

I hit toe whirl 10 times easily.

Then tried it mid string and landed a huge combo

PLO>Whirl (toe), osis

Thats a pretty badass guiltless combo for me. It felt real smooth and clean too. Im gonna start incorporating more toe whirls mid string, Now its just a matter of getting in BS's

****EDIT*****

I wasnt done hitting new stuff tonight, I was resting thinking i was done and started watching a shred video and all the sudden i wanted to shred some more.

I figured its time to step up and go for an even guiltless combo.

I was hitting Dimwalk>Whirl>paradox mirage>smear (sometimes megallan)

This really wasnt that hard for me i just kept doing it over and over and started to get a rythm for the trick.

Im really ready to step up my game alot, all these top level talents from all over north america coming to town for nyj im gonna make sure i have some of my best shred ever.

Im gonna try to clock in plenty of shred this week tonight i probably had a solid 2 hours of schooling. so far im off to a good start this week, i just gotta make sure i stretch plenty and make sure i dont overdo one type of trick on one side to avoid injuries.

Nice shit brudda.

Keep on that flip whirling stuff. I always neglected it, and only just came back around to practice flip pdx whirl...actually, even regular flip whirl! I neglected that bitch for 5 years, but in a few onths its alright now :)

props on pdx whirl

new years jam highlights

Paradox Whirl
I did it once with planting my dex leg and once without (jeremy mirkens advice to try it without)

Tons of Whirls, i even recieved multiple compliments on how good they look. i even hit whirl bsos a few times which is no easy feat for me.

I finally combo'd toe whirl mid run, it took alot of trys but i finally slamed it down PLO>Whirl was the one i hit, i was also trying to hit toe whirl out pixie pickup but that i was missing.

DLO from toe Both sides

Symp Mirage BSOS a few times (thats one you wont see me try to often)

Ducking Paradox mirage (gonna school this hard and make a trick to hit consistantly)

My sick3 intermediates trick Dimwalk>Whirl>Paradox mirage, it wasnt good enough to place But i hit it so clean and smooth on the 3rd try with everyone watching so that made me happy :D

Emily was trying to motivate me to hit drifter for the first time, She gave me some good pointers and even gave me a demonstration of how to practice the movement so hopefully i will be hitting that soon with some practice.

Seeing Jorden, Suderman, and jeremy mirken has really inspired me to practice harder. I have the time and energy and i could be dedicating more of it to footbag, and im single so i dont have to worry about devoting my time to anyone else besides my job footbag and freinds.

And im officially moving to 32 panel bag, i bought a footfighter from kolo and i love it. Osis is the only thing that im strugling to adjust to everything else seems to have improved with a nice heavy mid sized 32 panel footfighter.

I also competed in shred 30 intermediates and came in second place, It was a very nerve recking experience. I even mentioned to jorden how much more respect i have for him competing at worlds in front of a huge crowd. Im used to team sports it felt so odd to have center stage and everybody's attention on me alone.

Next year i think their will be alot of competition for intermediates shred 30, alot of people around my skill level did not compete which kind of dilutes my second place achievement, All of you better practice hard i want more competition next year.

The only sad note of the 3 days is i tweaked my left hip flexor/groin muscle, i played through and had to do mostly one sided runs which sucked cause i do advocate and practice both sides so hard and its dissapointing to not be able use my flip pixie sets as much as i like. I was lucky to hit my sick 3 for this fact since it started with dimwalk.

new trick today Symposium smear

i explained it to josh elmer and he told me that i hit backside whatever that means, Cause i dont understand what else it can be, all im doing is hitting smear without putting my set foot on the ground??

Had a great session rocked out my new favorite band "The faint" Hit some midrun symp mirage,

hit a new flip side combo

[flipside]butterfly>pickup>smear[flipside]

My left hip flexor felt good, i did some flip pixie tricks and they felt fine, i may have temporarily lost some set height on it but it will come back in time im sure.

My Strong side whirls are geting easier cleaner and deaper every sesion, I could see this trick becoming as easy as leg over one day soon. I did alot up/mid time, and hit a real nice down time one that was so clean i followed the bag the whole time, timed my jump dex and delay perfectly, and set it nicely into a paradox mirage!!! :D it put a smile on my face

Ever since seeing mike hansen hitting his smooth symp mirages i have been trying them again, i think at nyj i hit it bsos on my first attempt at it (that day). So why dont i do symp mirage more cause i can hit the trick i just never try, the only reason i can find is just lazyness, i think that will change cause i kind of like it and its fun when you hit it cleanly mid run. And i love tricks i can hit BSOS. so look for alot more symp mirages out in my runs.

you will be seeing a very different freestyler in me this summer (message to all you cic guys) i been very focused on my run lengths both sidedness, i got so much free time and its all for footbag (and the ocasional chick :P) I cant wait to show off my hard work and practice, and i got the feeling nothing less will be expected of me, which i like and can get used to.

I cant say enough how much i love this sport, for me personaly i have never gotten so much results from my hard work. Everything i have ever done has started out as fun and gets less fun as it gets harder, thankfully footbag is the opposite, the harder these tricks get the more fun it is to prove my body wrong and hit them. I love to practice, I love to play with freinds, I love to talk about it (not as much as other i recently noticed), And i love the health/weight loss results the sport has granted me.

I continue to realize, without footbag im a completely different man! Thank you all who have enlightened me to this wonderfull sport, and to all who share my love!

yeah brad it was cool meeting you too, when i first started oddly enough hoods house was one of the first websites after footbag.org i found, i didnt wanna sound cheasy but seeing your vids was cool, the FIRST footbag video i ever watched was the one with you guys doing tricks off of walls in your hotel room. lets just say the wv crew raised my interest level to the sport early on.

Im not sure, i know that mariokart is a part of the WFC network, whitch is an online nintendo ds service so as long you have a wifi signal you have online play.

i think what your talking about is similar to what xbox did with halo1, you could play it online with system link and use and internet service that would emulate the internet connection (called xbconnect) as being a system link, this was plagued with lag, but its a sure way to get REALLY good at halo (which i was for a while)

I went to school there, but it's about 25 minutes (liek every other destination) from my house. That's where ewe play poker though. There is no poker tomorrow, and this month I'm back on my "consulting gig," so I may not be able to play on thursdays. I can if the games start an hour earlier, and that may happen.

Let me know if there's anywhere to kick down there, so we can make it out, than we can eat somethng really good. Good eats is synonymous with hanging with you on the south side. First the foreman burgers (I know you may not eat those anymore), and all the BBQ. You even make the sliced bread good! So let me know if you wanna kick. We can kick up here sometimes too (by jake and josh or with kamil), so holler at me if you wanna do that.

Oh yeah we can definately make a day on the southside, possibly the sunday of the first bears playoff game, shred during the day watch the game on my uber 42" widscreen lcd High def display :)

If you want good eats you can call me the master of all that is chicken

Cook it well done and dump lemon pepper and some hot sauce on it and your in flavor heaven

Or we can have make chicken tacos with mexican rice and beans, dude i gotta tell you man being single and knowing how to cook well, is an attractive quality to the ladies, i recomend learning how to cook to all actively dating single guys.

but burgers can always be done too.

and you know i will be throwing another south side freestyle day! so you can start looking forward to that! This year to make it even bigger i was gonna set it up as a 2 spot gig half at one spot half at the other, more exposure to more kids, i plan on promoting the sperate times at both place for months beforehand so i think that should help top last years event. maybe even make arangements with a freind to take a dip in the pool between a break in the events.

had a light sesh last night

Had one nice long run

hit 5 strong side whirls back to back.

hit a nice dlo that had a very stepping feel to it :)

having some left knee pains so i may take a day off :(

Surprisingly i would think if i had knee problems it would be my right knee since im love with whirl, but my left knee hurts i wonder how that happened.

Induct me into the 5 add club

I hit pheonix not well but it was definately clean and definately delayed

The bad note was it wasnt much of a set so i still felt like i didnt hit the trick but i was told that if its delayed and comes of at an upward angle it still counts

Well whatever its on video but its not good enough in my books i want to REALLY hit this week and get into my first shred vid

The trick that made me happeir than that was

Dimwalk>whirl>infinity>whirl

It was awesome cause i reviewed it on the camera and you can not to tell what side is flip. Flip whirl and butterfly are coming along nice.

I had tons of practice saturday, i rested today, and will be thinking about shred all day at work and will be hitting the adds real hard at 5PM SHARP.

All you freinds of mine in chicago i hope to see you soon, i made a new lady freind who lives in the dorms at UIC we have talked about me coming out and hanging out there so maybe i will give some of you guys a buzz and meet up for a light night shred or just hang out and party or something.
