I wanted to start off winging about what went wrong in the last two sessions,
but its a new year and i'll scratch that .
For the first session in 2006, i wanted to make sure to work on single tricks more
and that i start to use my lil repertoire in its entirety, instead of
comming up with the same ol' mix of pixies, ducking and butter/pmir .

I had a good time with toe tricks - instead of bailing out to butter after
two of these, i linked up to six toe guiltless contacts, and i wasnt just
sticking to pixie . There where lots of taps, atoms, dlos and more
symposium mirages .I also managed to incorporate more whirls
and stepping tricks into my runs - everything worked well that day .

Stuff that made me smile :

mad tiltless warm up runs

toe to toe shuffle

another toe ingyro mirage

kool spectators that made me come out with all my big tricks like
pixie tap, phoenix and torque

long guiltless runs with GOOD variety

memory loss due to happiness

tapping osis bs

tapping osis>stepping legover
( flip) - i love the feeling,when you hit
a new move the first time and seal it spontaneously with something good

whirling rake

flip flux

plo>butter>stepping osis bs

a lot of whirls and blenders

BEING RELAXED AND CONFIDENT

:D

Eric is right :)

I really hope we get to shred soon again, it was so nice to have you
over here for a bit, even though our ( munichs ) shred sucked
that day and time and space were rather limited.
The way you analyze motions to make em more economic/efficient
is very helpful and your variety are really fresh and inspiring .
I try to remember your paradon tips and i'll nail that biotch just for you !

:D

Ah,btw i did my first 2 cons of footbag jugglin' :P !

i hit flip blender :D - the last 2 days i helped my mom to move all her
stuff to her new place, and i wanted some shred-lexation before lunch .

I worked on whirls, and tried out some stoopid and some realistic
variations, but no luck, either way.

The spagetthi were already boilling full boar, and i knew the time when
mommy says "stop playing around, lunch's ready" was to be soon.

I was like"what can i do, i have to hit something good now, and quick -
flip blender...well ok, lets try that.."
Boy, the first attempts were real akward, but 2 minutes later, i hit it nicely, just when the spaghetti hit the siv :D

Yo, i will be in berlin a few hours - hail mary muthafucka :D - i really
cant wait, i was quite stressed out lately and all the insane partying
and shredding with the kool kids that i have ahead of me is a nice treat.
Plus its nice to have the old team back on track, Markus and me are
traveling and flipping out together once again!

It was a good day for footbag today :

- i got a new Hania bag, that i will name Luba :P . god its the prettiest bag
around this frikken galaxy !!!

- my perception will shift in like...5 hrs ! Being in a different city rocks and
i will meet some good people there .

- i was shredding today...at last.

Shredding at Olympia was nice . Bea, Max, Luba and me ;
a lot of random drills, the actual time we did runs was awfully short,
but i forgive the Hunters, since they've been bravely shredding a lot
in the last days. It was a ruff sesh - i was wasted as hell, out of practice
and going for some hard stuff...interesting five's were footed and i'm
positive that i'll hit some of these cuties in b town ...

dlo>butterfl<>whirl bs

datw>butter>pdx mirage>datw>butter>
drop

paradon :D

linked 8 pixie moves

14 bops

toe inspinning (ss)mirage 8)

drifter bsos
felt reeeally good !!!

In my last session, wednesday i guess, i was working on a lot of
different stuff with the same old goal to make my strings longer
and more creative.

11 contacts of ducking mirage>butter>pdx mirage bs

smear>butter>pdx mir>rpt>tap>butter>p mir>rpt

atomic legover>butter>pmir>atomic legover

butter>shmoe>smear>butter>shmoe>plo

pixie ss kneebump ss pick up>plo>atomic ss knee op mirage

Today i hit butterfly rake both sides waiting for the u bahn .

I want more time for shredding, digesting berlin and making beats -

Dude, awesome combos :D Especially that one started with Paradon. big props. Atomic Legovers are cool, I'm throwing them in my runs sometimes recently too :D I see your Stepping are getting much better. I have some ideas for you:

Smear > Atomsmasher (rpt) > Butterfly > Whirl (rpt)
DLO > Symp. Mirage > Pixie Legover (rpt)
Eggbeaters?
Pdx DLOs and Smogs
Flux > Pdx Mirage (rpt) - that would be cool :D
Osis x6
Butterfly > Osis > Osis > Butterfly rpt as much as you can

That's something you can work on :) It's cool to see all your progress, I'm sure that when we'll be shredding again I'll be surprised with how good you are :D

Yesterday i had a good time playing footbag, thanx to Max, who gave
me money for Olympiabad.

The best thing for me is the way stepping is feeling these days -
for the record, i hit all my standart drills that day, stuff like
butter>shmoe>smear rpt or butter>blur rpt - but the feeling
is new and different.

In Berlin i had a good chat with Markus and Renato about how one learns
trix, while spoiling ourselves with delicious indian food.

Watching others, live or on video, and being directly instructed
by others, works out best when you start to learn something,
when you're still in a phase of understanding the motions or the
components of a move.

But since the mere hitting of a certain something begins to lose its importance, mainly because i started to recognize the difference
between "barley managed" to "hitting it nicely", thinking about a move becomes a great teacher.
How is it supposed to look ? What do i have to do to get there ?
Can i make it look nicer ? Do i have to put that much effort in it ?
and so on ...

Before Berlin i was in a learning phase, at the anniversary jam
i could watch and "interview" all my favorite players and now
i'm in a contemplative phase, na i mean :D !

When Max was around we did some runs and drills, and when he got
back to the sauna after an hour, i was working on spins, swirls and
on the effectiveness of my stepping set, asking my self how i can make
it feel/ look better and how i can connect it with the elements that i
use all the time.
sidewalk>butter>pdx mirage rpt was feeling real smoove the 1. time,
shmoe>smear also became heaps easier. Same for spins ; spinning
legover>smear feels so nice, but i still suck at it...

Another thing, Max Kerkhoff advised me to keep my quantum set more
leggy, to keep the set on track, save time ect...a great tip, i hit
quantum legover bsos like cake 8)

@Szymon :

Thanks for your encouraging words and your challenging ideas -
i will work on everything you suggested and i cant wait to meet
you again ! I hope it will be soon .

Today i had a fun time with stepping and whirls down in the cave with Bea ;
it was another session worth rememberin' - the vibe was very exciting
and encouraging, we spurred each other on no ends she picked up well
on the benefits of conserving the feel of a move hit "perfectly" as
the key for finding out how one can play more effortlessly .

We analyzed eachothers difficulties together, which proved to be very
helpful for my paradons . Another thing we stumbled across are those
weird and completly unnessesary "cramps" that she has doing blurs
or that i have with datws sometimes - you know when you get too
excited, too tense, because you already think about the second/third/final
element of a move whilst doing the first one .
Its the most simple thing ever, but thinking about executing a move
in the most nice looking and most economical way is so the way 4ward :!:

Like that my stepping has become a natural part of my game now -
i had some good runs today and i was very happy and quite flattered,
when Bea told me that my game has changed a lot 8) .

paradox whirl both sides

tapping whirl

one run with drifter>pdx mirage>smear>run>pixie ss clipper>whirl

butter>sidewalk>pdx mirage>rpt>butter>p mir>smear>butter>
stepping leg over>butter>ripwalk>p mir>plo>butter>ripwalk>p mir>

handcatch

footed reactor and tomahawk 2 times each - normally i dont approve
of the whole"i have almost hit this/that stuff", but i was so stoked that
i managed to clear the dexes for these beauties with not 2 much hassle .

Thanks Markus, and i'm already working forward to our next session:twisted:

First Outdoor Session 06

I had to overcome the bordedom that school infected me with today,
and after thanking god for providing me with the nessesary amount
of german genes, i went out into the blistering, dry cold and kicked it :P .

butter>osis, osis>ss clip>ss clip rpt, osis>butter>p mir and the brocka drill.
me need betta clippaz. osis is making more sense now, soon it will be so
fun and will bust torques and twirls all over the place.
back to reality - my dlos suck and something has to be done !
i worked on both sets, both sides and learnt something about the
importance of hip movement in all tricks that are miraging of some sort .
being in the right flow, i worked on all 4 drifters in the same way :
(butterfly>)move>catch>mental sweat rpt.
in between i worked on my flip paradon motion, and spinning rake
and even more stupid stuff...

it was a very rewarding session - i deal with my weak elements in a
quite disciplined manner, and improvement is slowly on its way -
the main thing bugging me now is the lack of spins in my runs .

i hit :

flip spinning rake

atomic rooted toe stall
8)

flip paradox drifter

flip paradon

and by hit, i dont mean once

Today is a good day - i got an a in economics and in social studies,
the best marks in the class, hehe ...
and i hit four alternating osii and tapping pick up>butter>p mir>plo>
tapping pick up>butter>drop on stepping leg. during break :D

I was happy with the combo as it was, since i wasnt robotically attempting
a second p mir, but bravely tried a step...

shreeedddd :P

Yesterday it was very hard to shred, my legs were kinda on the sofa already,
and i was tired as hell, almost falling asleep on the way to the spot :? ...

When i did the first rounds of warm up kicks i knew it wont be a session
for stepping, atomic or dlos - it was so hard to concentrate, and i coudnt
do more then 67 lol !
Tiltless felt ok though - i turned my sleepiness into a catalysator fo a
smoove and effortless way of linking two adds.
I hit 46 legover and had some creative runs of ok lenght . After that i was
working on both flip mirages, cause i dont feel at home with drifters and dlos
at all on this side. Also more illusions - need flip blizzard, and that fucking
elusive eggbeater/flail business.
I wasnt really feeling strong and pioneer like at all, the only idea i had,
was taking on a lot of weak or neglected stuff, flip pixie was next.
Such a simple set one could think, but yesterday i learnt, how many
different sources for fuck ups it has . Some progress though.
Then ducking pdx mirage and flip toe ducking mirage - that was decent,
i could pin point some mistakes and fixing them was easy :).
Spinning was also fun, i understood gyro mirages a little better and
spinning clippers aswell.
In between and towards the end, i dealt with another big bowl o wrong :
flip double dexes. Relexation is the key here - i bsosd datw again,
and had some good ones on my flip. Paradon seemed a little harder
that day - while datw requires only a minimum of strenght and agillity,
paradon is still some olympic and hectic effort for me .

tene in memoria verbis beatrici : oppugna "the bag" in tempore !

New :

ps mirage

pixie clipper>gyro mirage>(smear>run) bs

pixie tapping pick up :D
