Ok riku, but you better start training hard, or I'll school you and you'll regret ever messing with me

Had a short session, it terminated faster then it should, because I suddenly realised that I have to meet my friend at 17:50, and it was 17:25 already! 8O I rushed home and thankfully managed to make it on time. I had to give money for my 18th birthday party, which is pretty soon.

The session was pretty good, I paid attention to keeping straight posture, because I noticed I started to bend my back too much and it made tricks harder. It's really helpfull to be straight, especially with Stepping sets. Thanks to that I hit Stepping Whirl x3. I was also extremaly happy about breaking my Drifter record, which is now 27 :) Schooling Drifters is totally paying off - Drifter > Pdx Drifter (rpt) felt easy today.

I tried to hit some stuff that is not very common for me, like Stepping ss Pickups, and Tapping Pickups :) They felt nice in shuffle strings. I should work more on my Quantum sets, as they became pretty hard. And Blenders of course, as always :)

I can finally buy beer now! I got the best present from my parents - three samurai swords, there's a katana, a wakizashi and a tanto. They're totally awesome :D I'm sure they'll be standing in my office when I'll be a rich man (which of course will happen in future).

I have winter holidays now, so I have lots of time for shredding, and that's very good. On last session I hit some new stuff, like:

Pixie Whirl > Stepping Whirl > Butterfly > Janiwalker > Whirlygig > run with Blurry Whirl > Scorpion's Tail

I was very close to a good Sick3 - Fury > Pixie Paradon > Food Processor - the bag was one centimeter off my foot :) I'm schooling my Flaring set, I hit some Flaring Pdx Mirages, I need this set to be stronger in order to hit Flareal Buttefly.

I'm starting my driving license course too. I'm going to be very busy  Tommorow we're going to a small town south of Wrocław - Nysa to shred with some guys from there, it's going to be great.

So the session in Nysa was very good, we played for about 3 hours straight. There were only 5 people shredding, so it was pretty exhausting. I hit some new stuff like:

Fury > Pixie Paradon > Food Processor
Tombstone > Stepping Whirl BSOS
Tomahawk, Blurry Whirl, Spinning Pdx Whirl and PS Whirl all BSOS
Pixie Paradon > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Spinning Pdx Whirl > PS Whirl
Janiwalker > run with Janiwalker b2b and Fury
Blurtigo and Alpine Whirlygig again

I had a good run started with Firewalk > PS Eggbeater - I like this link a lot :D Another session tommorow.

Thanks a lot! :D Highlights of today's session:

Pdx DLO > Whirl (rpt)
Blubberman
PS Whirl > Whirr BS

We played for about 3 hours, then some people came and said that they have drumming workshops now, so we had to pack up and leave. But until then it was a good session. I tried to use Pickups in my runs, and hit some Tapping Pickups - they feel pretty cool :) I also found out that I completelly lost my dexless game, so I worked on it too. I think I'm slowly getting the hand of Zulu Clippers.

Another session today. Here's the new stuff:

Plasticman (Barfly > Barrage > Paradon (rpt))
Pdx Torque > Pdx Blender
Alpine Blurry Whirl > Whirlygig
Backside Blur > Atomsmasher > Legbeater > Backside Blur
Symp. Mirage > Symp. Pixie (rpt) > Symp. Whirl > PS Mirage
Janiwalker and Sunilwalker BSOS

It was a good day for shuffle, most of my sets felt on, maybe excluding stronside Atomics which sucked for some reason :) I'm working on Symposium tricks a little, too bad I can't hit flipside Flail - I have to work on it. If I could hit Symp. Whirls, Mirages and Flails all BS that would open my way to awesome drills :D Yeah - drills. That's what I work on most of the time now. I really like reapeating everything on both sides. The bad thing is that it probably looks a bit boring. Still I think I'm not trapped in mirror combos, I just like them a lot :D Oh, I broke my Shred30 record today too, now it's 192,5 :)

Happy Birthday Szymon ! I know i'm damm late, but i dont check modified
much these days...i hope you had a great party and i wish you all the health,
love and happyness that youre able to handle !
Whats the deal with the samurai swords, you've got some skills with blades
already...no, wait maby BAP means "Bushido Artists of Poland"...

Back to footbag ; i really like alp blurry whirl to whirlygig, its so brutal
and beautiful at the same time .
Ps whirl>whirr is also very nice - i dig the change from the ps whirls
agressiveness to the speed and control that i think one needs for whirr !

Its nice that you post more often again, keep being hardcore and,
if you feel like it, read my blog and gimme some creative, fun or
whatever else challenge, so that i have something to show you,
when we meet again :D

Thanks Daryl! I just came back from a crazy session in Strzelin with Ostrowski brothers and all the rest of the crew. I'm so tired that my eyes are closing, gotta go to sleep... Some highlights:

Fury > Plasma
Symp. Butterfly > PS Mirage (rpt) :)
a run with Janiwalker > PS Whirl BS, Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl and Blurriest

I had some good runs with lots of fearless tricks, but I really lacked consistency on basic stuff.

Thanks setman. I try Beast combos sometimes, but it's still too hard. I have to work on linking my 6's more, then maybe I'll be able to hit it.

Today's session was very good, don't know why but I had better control then usually, and that resulted in some good combos:

Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl > Spinning Pdx Whirl > PS Whirl
run z Janiwalker > Whirlygig BS i Blurry Whirl > Spinning Pdx Whirl > PS Whirl
Blurry Drifter > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Blurriest
Pixie Paradon > Blurry Whirl > Superfly
run Blurry Drifter > PS Whirl BS i Janiwalker > Whirlygig

Later we played some games, like asking each other to hit 2 contact combo withing 5 tries. I told Olaf to hit Vortex > Gyro Butterfly and he hit it first try :D Wojtas hit Clip set ss Mirage > Legover, Paweł Drifter > Diving Clipper, and I Stepping Whirl > Whirling Swirl. Later Olaf told me to try Quantum Symp. Mirage > Atomic Whirl but that was way too hard :D

Yo Szymon! Hot shit you are hitting!! Must be that extra year of age and maturity you now have  Happy birthday dude!

Awesome combos you have there though, really sweet stuff. You reminded me what i forgot to try at my session today (Atomic Whirl)
Any chance of a video soon?

No surprise that Olaf hit that combo first try hahaha Say hi to him for me, will you!

Im really disappointed i didnt get to make it to Poland again before i left Europe; Zocha Jam would have been really good fun

Take care man

Thanks Ian :) About a video - I doubt it. There is a slight chance of getting some footage but we would have to get a TV tuner card first which most probably won't happen. But since we won't make a video, you have to make one with yourself :D

We played early today, but it was a good session. I hit some new tricks and combos:

flip Nemesis
Blurry Whirl > Symp. Whirling Swirl > PS Whirl
Blurriest > Tomahawk > Pdx Torque midstring
Barfly x4 > Barrage > Paradon > Barfly > Barrage

In the middle of the session we just started schooling single tricks. First there were Barrages, then Swirls and finally Torques. I think we hit about 50 of each. This kind of practice is really efficient, after dealing with Torques I felt big improvement - Pdx Torque BSOS came much, much easier then usually. I footed Food Processor > Whirlygig two times :) Gotta work on Blender > Stepping more and it will be mine :D

I found out I've been doing Whirls on my strong side with bad technique. That's the reason I had slight knee pains recently. I hope that now when I know what I've been doing wrong I'll fix this situation.

Thanks, but I don't think Nemesis b2b is going to happen anytime soon :) . Had a short session today, there were 3 people playing and we had a good circle going on. It seems that someone did something to the floor in our gym, as it became pretty slippery :? Shredding is now more difficult, especially while trying moves that require good balance (all Pdx stuff and others). But that didn't stop us and we played for good 3 hours. My shuffle strings were on today and I hit some good links like Stepping Legover > Quantum Butterfly (rpt) to a short run. Pdx DLO is also getting a little easier, though I still have problems with hitting it consistently on my flipside.,

I schooled my routine a little and it looks promising. There a few moments that should look good if I won't drop :D My right knee is bothering me a little, so I stayed away from Whirls and Double Downs on that side. I hope it will get better before Remont.

Finally! I played today :D It sucks big time, but there are some other workshops in our gym most of the time, so we can only shred on weekends (and sometimes even not). There were 3 people playing so we had a good circle. I felt like I lost all my endurance in the beggining, I had to sit down for a while, but later on I got my strenght back and shredded it up.

I figured out a cool feeling link of DLO to Quantum. I hit DLO > Quantum Legover BSOS and tried DLO > Tripwalk (rpt) but couldn't get it. The highlight of the day was hitting Blurriest > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl (drop) and straight after PS Whirl > Spinning Pdx Whirl > Scorpion's Tail. Blazing Butterfly > Pdx Eggbeater > Paradon felt nice too.

I'm working a little on my tripless runs. Watching some videos recently I came to conclusion it's starting to be a standard now :D Next session tommorow!

Thanks Max :) Funny session today, the famous Ales Zelinka came to play with us :D I was feeling weak, but had lots of fun. Ales was hitting awesome combos as always (Barfly Swirl and BS Bedwetter in an almost entirely tripless run, Pdx Chainsaw Massacre with ease, some other crazy stuff I can't even remember :D ). Damian Budzik also played and I remember him hitting a great run with Food Processor BS, Spinning Pdx Blender, Blurriest and Mobius.

I hit one new combo which is almost a drill: PS Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl. Also, I had some good tripless runs, but I feel very limited while doing them. I can hit a lot of fours, but linking them in long combos with variety is another thing :) . Oh, I also hit one new cool trick: Stepping ss Whirling Legover :) It looks really funny, like I'm going for Stepping Whirl but in the last moment sweep it out with the other leg :D I thought up a nice combo of Spinning Wichajster > Whirling Legover - that would rock!

It looks like I'm not going to shred until Remont, a big tourney in Warsaw. I can't wait to meet with all the footbaggers :D
