tonight i hit a few new moves by sets,
was drilling pixies alot and finally hit smear (i could only hit dimwalk before)
then i drilled stepping alot and hit sidewalk and blur (already had ripwalk)
THEN i tried atomic sets (never did them before) and hit legbeater. i was also inches away from barrage several times. all both sides
frustrating though, i coulda sworn i had blenders figured out, last tim i hit like 4 both sides almost first try out of nowhere. now im back to not even being close. oh welll

Vortex?! Nice, I'll share the tip!

news: Paradox DLO, Paradox Eggbeater, Symposium Reverse Whirling Swirl, might have already mentioned tapping reverse whirl.

i know you didnt ask for mine chris, but I also had a vortex realization which was the following:

First of all, I used to: set, then spin, then spot then try what i felt was like a paradox drifter

Yesterday however, I tried the following: 1) set, 2) then spin, spot ,and lift my drifter leg above the level of the bag practically all at the same time 3) do what felt like a clip set drifter.

So you see, what worked for me, was 1) NOT setting and spinning at the same time (because it is easy to set diagonally or lose balance this way), rather to hesitate a milisec. like with a pixie set.
2) Also, do not try to do the entire drifter at the end of the move, because if you do it feels like a pdx. drifter rather than a clip set drifter, which is much easier. try to minimize the trick difficulty by already having your leg above the bag as a product of the end of your spin, thus all you need to do if wrap your dex leg around the support leg and catch the clipper.

Hope this helped,
Jeremy

what helps for me in spotting is dont think about the spin at all. just twist to look at the bag. and your body will follow. you'll spin faster.

God damn, I remember the first time I played with you. That`s really great Noah!

This weekend I hit 9 or 10 unique sixes in the same session, 4 unique in the same string. One of my sixes was a real clean pixie blackula, which I know Vasek hit at least 8 months ago. Still, I`m calling it `sexy beast` for the moment, unless I hear Vasek named it something else. You know, like a `your mom` variation, plus, its a 6 add so its kind of beast-y.

well i got the atom smasher and stepping mirage both sides, didnt really try flux cuz i was getting atomic-sore, and i just plum forgot magellan ( i usually write myself like to-do lists) i did however drill blender and got it back (drilled for 7 each side, took me awhile :P got some pretty clean though),

again the best tip i got for blender, is really go like your doing a regular whirl, in that you dont turn your foot or body, until right when the whirling foot starts to go under the bag. this is much easier than trying to whirl and spin at the same time.

also started sealing paradon (legover>paradon>infinity), ill be able to use it in runs soon

Yesterday I improved my spins. I hit spinning Whirl and spinning paradox whirl. I actually hit the paradox version first thinking it was regular spinning whirl. And I hit a bunch of Pdx Blenders real easy.
Also had vortex and void/lotus roll off my foot.

Noah

PS Gyro is harder than Spinning.
