Hawaii?

Hey everyone..

Just wondering if any shredders have come to Hawaii, or plan to. I just read all over the site that people have come here and thought more might. I live on the "Big island" as we call it, or just Hawaii. There are 7 other islands.. It would be really cool to meet another shredder (and especially if they are really good). Well yeah..just wondering..

I've been to Hawaii some 6 times in my life and I plan to return... I haven't been to Big Island yet (only Oahu, Maui, and Kauai), but I heard it's really cool. Is it less raped by the tourism industry than Maui/Oahu? I was through there last year with a more critical mind (previous visits I was 11 or younger) and shit there seemed way unfortunate for the locals. In fact the student group I was with was harrassed on racial grounds by a group of locals when we were at big beach. Beautiful but somewhat depressing place.

Yeah, the big island has soo much less tourism, but still has a lot

. Everyone says I live in paradise and stuff like that, but it is really bad here..not totally but somewhat.. All the locals don't want people to come (at least the ones I know and ones i know about) and treat them really bad. I was treated bad when I came because I had white skin, but I have tan now.. the scariest time was when I was 12 and was walking in the mall to meet my brother in borders, these 3 big hawaiian guys come up to me and just were like "come on brah, lets scrap! scrap!!" and then they just starting cursing at me for no reason

i was so freaking scared though. Ran on and over water!
