Al Sharpton

Al Sharpton is speaking to my entire school tomorrow for MLK day. I didn't know who he was and after speaking with fellow classmates and doing some research, it strongly appears that he is a racist. Keep in mind I also live in NH.

I know its too late for action now, but I will try calling the school district anyways.

The fact that you didn't know who Al Sharpton was until you heard he was coming to your school makes me throw out your opinion on him.

but yeah. i really dont think sharpton is, but i think claims of racism is too often a one-way street

As a New Yorker, who has also seen Sharpton speak in person, I personally think that Sharpton is a racist who plays the race card every chance he can. But just cause he's a racist, doesn't mean he shouldn't speak at your school. Go see him speak, then call him on any incosistencies. It can be a good opportunity for you.

Gosh, I can be too quick to jump the gun sometimes. I was partly getting him confused with another African American Al who is more on the extream side. I do think today will be fine.

yeah i was serious, from what ive seen and heard of him hes pretty cool. I would think most liberals wouldnt have a problem with Rev. Al. whats wrong with him? I dont know much about him, just from the few speaches i heard of his and a few appearances on shows like Cross Fire and Chris matthews.
