$100 Abshire bag?

I remember reading about this awhile ago, but I then I left the forum (and footbag) for a while.

I was just wondering if this bag was still gonna happen?

Anyone hear anything new on it?

I haven't heard from Richie on this issue for a while but I'll sell you a bag for 100 dollars . . .

I just made a bag, in fact, that took an incredibly long time to stitch because I used more stitches than usual and stitched super close to the edge of the panels. Its yours for only 100 dollars!

United Nuclear for the uranium.

By their current stop, it will take you around $300 to make a 30-40g uranium filled footbag. I think the gold would be more expensive, but the gold is much less reactive and thus will stay pure longer. it is also more maleable and will feel better for shredding. It is also less toxic if swallowed.

I suggest that you use a lead ball mill to grind these into pellets and prevent the uranium from oxidizing. Finally, seal the footbag with strong plastic on the inside and fill it with a noble gas like Argon so that the Uranium doesn't oxidize and stays pure.

And yes it is radio-fucking-active.

Btw, unitednuclear has everything I can imagine for chemical/pyromaniacal supplies.

Testing and research has change the final product. The bag will cost about half that, maybe 60.00. I am working with different fillers at the moment. The new material is still in the testing stages. Sorry for the delay. Richard

Well I have three Jammin Footbags from 1992, aka Richie Bags. Back then they were called Jammin Footbags, then Motion Zone, and so on. I would sell one of those for $100, and seeing that two of them are brand new, never used, it should fetch a fine price IMO. Let me know, lol. Ciao, Michael

Hmm . . . people seem to think that I want to spend $100 on a bag. That's not the point of this thread.

I merely wanted to know how Ritchies new bags were coming and I could only think of that name for them.

The bag you talk about does sound awesome, but I don't have the money to spend $100 on a bag I'd wear out in less than a year (as most bags do). I'd love to see it tho, can you post pics??

I was just kidding with you. I would not break them in, or sell any of them, for they are part of my collection. There are not many, if any Jamin Footbags still around. I used the one of the far left, and the other two are actually brand new. I would not use them, for they are 14 years old, and Richie has way better sewn, filled, and performance bags as of now. Here is a pic for ya though. The three that I have are in the very front row, and are from left to right, and go as followed...blue/purple/greey, then red/lime green, and then blue and red. The blue and red one still has the Jamin Footbag Logo of a guy doing a Flying Clipper. Take care, Michael

Thanks, I have the most Abshire Footbags on the planet IMO, ranging form Jamin to Motion Zone to Abshire Footbbags. I have lost more than most have ever owned, or given them away to friends or family. Check out my post about New1 Le Coq Sportifs, Good ol Richie Bags....for that is most of my collection. Richie has more Footbags than I do, but some of mine are worth $200 plus IMO, especailly the Allan Peterson Footbags, and yes he was and still is the cleanest stitcher on the planet, however you need a gathered Footbag for Shred. Check out my other posts, and find the Allan Peterson bags......the one that looks very Rasta in nature has 192 pieces, and I paid $100 for it in 1992, so with inflation...the fact that is was the only Rasta color scheme made in facile makes it pretty special, and it is his number 6th out of not too many 192s. Or if you are just too lazy...here it is again..
