Lavers to G6

Hey i wear a size 12 rod laver. If i switch to G6's anyone know what size i should get because im thinking of picking some up on ebay. Thanks!

Yeah, that's what I remember reading too. Half size smaller. Also, I just had a quick question. The size thing on my Lavers is worn out and I don't remember what size I ordered. If I compare the size to other pairs of shoes, would they be similar sizes? I compared them to 2 other pairs of shoes that I have (they are not Lavers) and I got the size of my Lavers to be 8/8.5. I'm thinking of getting the 7.5 G6s off of ebay, would my assumption be accurate? Thanks for the help!

Yeah, I wear 9.0 Lavers, but I feel that my new Goonits are .5 size too big still. 8.0 seems like a perfect fit for me, but I'm comfortable with the 8.5 I have.

All my other shoes are 9,5 but G-units are size 8 and they feel just about perfect.

why don't you just go to the local shoe store to test the g-units?!
then everybody knows for himself which one is the best

One good reason is that there isn't a pair for sale in the whole country.

Trying on the shoe at the store may not be the most accurate measure.

When I modded my first pair of G6, I didnt cut all the leather away from the edges of the toe box.

That bit of leather later broke, and I could feel the difference in size between the shoe "with intact leather" and the shoe without.

When that leather broke, it felt like an extra half centimeter , or so,was added to the shoe length. That toe leather keeps some tension on the tongue of shoe.

Perhaps if you left two strips of leather along the right and left sides of the toe box , they wont expand to much.

That leather may eventually break,depending on use.

If I had to do it again with shoes that are to large, I would leave MOST of the toe box leather, only cutting out a channel, or hole, in the middle of the toe box.

The G6's sometime feel like cheating, so maybe we don't really need a "totally mesh" toe box, just a little.

All I can find on ebay are the g6 I lows. I'm pretty sure that's right and am probably coming off as retarded, but I don't want to blow my money on the wrong thing, so is this type of shoe fine as well?

Ya those are the same ones i got! They are WAY more comfortable than lavers and play better as well (in my opionion)
