The list of players that I admire is long, but if forced to think real fast on the topic, two players that I always really liked are Noah D. and Yacine.

Most overall influential: Defender of the Universe
Most inspiring new concepts and huge tricks at the same time: Jorden Moir
Most influential video work: Samurai Colclough, Unanim Works, Intergalactic
Most inspiring all-encompassing: Rippin, Kenny
Pushing everything: Vasek

Probably more (Rob Fuller, Tim Werner, Windsen Pan)
Mostly Ricky and James

I was just skimming through this topic, and I did a double take when I thought Erik Chan said the most influential pro to him was Rick James.

My most influential pro, one whom I feel does not get enough props, is Greg `GFSmoothie` Nelson. Greg took me under his wing, and if it werent for him, I wouldnt be playing today. I owe it all to Greg. Thanks G!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We played nearly everyday for a long time, and I have had the honor of watching is super-smooth style up close, and have received much unforgettable advice not only with regards to footbag, but about life, for four years. Greg is an awesome person and I really feel lucky to have had such a coach at the beginning of my footbag career.

Yves inspired me to learn how to shuffle.
Ryan's 2001 worlds routine is what made me want to get good.

I know this is off subject, but what ever happened to Windsen Pan ? Didn't he sprain / break an ankle on video trying some barefoot stuff ? After that I don't remember if he ever got back into footbag.

I'd have to say that Vasek is my main influence! Just watching 100 Bars or Stand Alone is enough to motivate me to learn something new or become better at a concept! Also, watching Jorden, Johnny, and Jeremy Mirken in person at NYJ motivated me a lot!

Vasek and Jorden have been the biggest inspiration for me for as long as i started freestyling. Their shred helped me get better, mad props to both of them.

John: I remember he sprained/broke/something his ankle on some huge move (sailing same eggbeater or something?), but then he came back, unless he had a further injury afterwards. He was playing after the one time on video, though, because I remember he made a comeback video where he re-showed him bailing on that move and then hitting it after he healed. I haven't heard anything from the San Antonio guys (nevermind Texas) for ages.

I work part time and play footbag part time. Last week I made about $300 from playing footbag and this month I made about $1200. - I also make a little from making bags but I'm so lazy - I make around $100 - $300 an hour playing footbag and about $10 an hour making bags and $16 an hour working (minus tax).

ya man. Those guys from the Hackrifice crew are tha bomb... I watch the Andrew Grant - Jully 2005 vid at least once ever day. He's SOO fast! Great style

edit: I can't believe that I forgot to add Joel ___ (I forgot his last name) from hackrifice (The founder). I met him at the Winnipeg Folk Fest (BEST time of year, bar-none) and he showed me my first guiltless shred demo since I started footbag. I didn't hit anything new with him that day, but I understood alot more concepts after meeting him... it was great

Jorden, Felix, and Honza as my influential pros

Luis and Nelson Monhollan, and Louis and Ben Rinowski ( I think thats the last name),... beacause they are the only people I get to play with and the only shreders I have seen in person.
