Freestyle Reality (discontinued)
I just wanted to point out that by saying I wanted "Eli's" recoded versian, I wan't trying to take away from what Sam did. I know that this film will be incredible and I really want to see it. Problem is I have a bad internet connection and it is litterally impossible for me to download such a large file.
Either way, I wanna get the DVD, in fact I think I still have the money order I made up back when the pre-ordering was happening . . . never got around to sending it. Maybe I should get on that . . .
Sorry if I offended you, Sam. I LOVE all your videos!!!
I agree with what Ken said up there^.

Here's what I want...
A track listing!! Killer music choice, Sam! I don't think there was a single track I didn't like/thought was out of place.
That said, I really enjoyed this movie. I don't really think I can add much to what everyone else has already said about it, except that the ending shred scene was awesome!!! GREAT music, angles, and editing. There first time I watched that scene I couldn't help muttering to myself that footbag hasn't looked so cool before. Thanks for expressing what's visually cool about footbag so succinctly.

Hey sam,
I really liked the movie. I think i have a different view on it becuase i kinda "saw" it being put together through our conversations and the little bits you showed me. im not sure if this made it better for me as a whole, or worse, but either way i liked it. i was a fan of all the actions scenes and i liked all of the cameos by sick players. my favorite part was the shred section at the end. i thought the lon waterfall fight was the best fight scene. the music overall was really well done, and fit almost every scene.
as far as criticsm goes, i kinda didnt get the story, and it was a bit fragmented. sometimes it seemed like you made up a character just cuz someone was around. these are minor anyway, and it came together really well and it still all made sence. thanks for putting so much work into it.

Hey Sam I started downloading it about 10 days ago before I left for australia but I got back to find someone had shut my computer down and the download stopped.Samurai wrote:oh well then i guess i dont need it online anymore
Is there anyway I can download it now? I would love to see your masterpiece.
Hi,
first of all, I did not notice the evolution of this thread until now.
My two cents:
I would love to see the movie .
The file is super big 1GB
I tried downloading and the download stopped two times at around 500mb. This sucked big time.
Ok, I thought of buying a copy of freestyle reality but I am not sure if it will work for me, because I am living in Europe and not in the US.
Due to my lack of technical knowledge and the size of the file, I am not able to see this vid.
I would highly appreciate a smaller version of the movie. Honestly I do not give that much about quality , I want to lean back and watch a nice footbag video for one or two times.
I am sure that there are tons more people who are not able to watch it because maybe there is a lack of money or a bad internetconnection or whatever, there could be tons of different reasons why this vid cannot be watched.
Sam , I never read your post above ( which was obviously censored), but please make sure that you read the offer of Ellis carefully and not read too much between the lines.
If you are sure this did not happen and you came to the conclusion you do not want to video being reencoded than it is ok I guess.
If you read the post / pm one time more and you can point out that your answer was based on completely different reasons than the offer to reedit your vid than you should maybe rethink your attitude.
If you want more feedback on your movie you should offer it in a smaller size too . There are some hindrances watching the 1GB movie or buying a DVD of you.
Keep it going - I hope your work will pay off in a manner you really wish and right now I got the feeling that you are somewhat disappointed with the feedback from the community.
Just my impressions and my two cents.
Regards
Jochen

Yeah, for anybody to have it work in Europe it'd have to be in PAL format. At least, I think so. Eff NTSC!

I played it on my computer. I don't know if the other DVD player in the hosue would play it... I'll check it out later.HooD wrote:Indeed, the cover is really nice ! I'm not crazy about the actual DVD cover, but oh well, just an opinion. Oh yeah, my dvd player plays every single footbag dvd and burned dvd's I've tried for the most part, and all I get on mine is an error. This was the biggest tease ever.
I loved it so much! There's so much good in it and absoloutely no bad... This was definitely one of the greats to add to the footbag video collection.
Everyone must bow to sam... <bows>
