A great day, until footbag stomped on my feet. Very productive day all the way through. Woke up early to study, took 2 tests, ate relatively healthy until I got to work. I went straight from school to work so I could get some exercise & lifting in. They told me to eat the left over pizza, so I definitely had no argument there. Lead the usualy aquatics class, followed by a junky footbag session. My legs are just wore down from shredding harder and killing myself Saturday over those stupid ripwalks. Yet again today, I hit 9x ripwalks. Shin spints are a bit stronger today and it makes it harder to really push my stepping. I'm a bit tired of having to battle my stepping sets as opposed to every other set that moves along with me. I wouldn't be so bothered, except for it's 90 % + everyone elses easy set. It looks so simple, it should be simple, yet I can't get a consistant set, I can't dex it consistantly, I put too much effort into them and get really fatigued, my set height is usually too low, and what else ?? BLAH to that set !!

On other news, stepping set sucks !!!!

I think I'm going to make one day a designated challenge day to push myself a bit harder. Maybe Saturday or something I can do that, cause if I keep killin my legs over and over and over because of a simple concept, I'm not going to move my game forward. So next session shall be the old way, good clean fun. I just noticed that I concentrated so much on stepping today that I didn't hit a ton of concepts I usually throw in...stepping is so evil !!

WVU Shred Session. Jan. 28th - 29th.

I of course am in.
Brad, is this date ok ?
Caleb said he could make it.
I'm sure Bob will be in.
Jake should also be game for it. Caleb is contacting him as we speak.

The Recreation Center is $6 I believe if we want to use that. If we don't, I'm sure Brad can find some shred spots.

I would love to go, but I think it is too far for me to go while I am breastfeeding my baby. I'd have to leave to feed her as soon as I get there. I could maybe make a session if it was in like Marshall or Charleston for a couple hours....if my mom watches her.

I can fit two people in my dorm. I'll look around for some other places to kick though the rec center probably has some really good ones and a nice place to chill out afterwards.

Had my first solo session since Sept. or Oct? It was pretty good. I got some "Huh?" faces from people, but no one stopped to see what I was doing. I played decent just not consistent. I have all the concepts I need to play how I want I just have to dial them again one by one. It felt good to just get out there and kick on my own terms again.

I probably shouldn't have played right after lunch, but oh well.

Great day today ! Got some free pizza at lunch which always makes any day much brighter. Got done with school (2 3.5 hour classes...ugh) and went straight to work early to exercise. Got done, lead the aquatics and then got down to shred. I think some of the things that were challenges were too hard for me or atleast not energy efficient cause I don't have the concepts down so it's really a waste tryin to kill myself over it. I really worked on spinning and think I've gotten in my mind a better way to do it ! I'm keeping the last combo for shits'n'giggles just to try whenever I feel like something extremely unlikely and challenging. Other than that I'd like to do consecutive things or drills. I'm going to add on drifter and swirl stuff cause it's crazy fun and I think I could make them good enough to where it's like butter. I still haven't gotten 10 ripwalks, I have been ending up with 9 which I'm happy with and extremely agitated about.

Brad, as for where people would stay. I will gladly sleep in my car or something, it doesn't really matter. Shred spots, I almost definitely say we for one day use the recreation center cause it is so GREAT. Caleb, if you get any word on Jake M. , just post or tell me so I can. Other than that I guess we'll post the times and location soon as Brad figures it out.

Bad session. I heard Jake isn't coming either. Wait, one more tidbit of negativity to complete the hat trick...

i sprained my ankle.

Ok, the ankle part was a bad joke ,wasn't very funny -__- . I'm hoping this bad session is from lack of sleep, a long day, and a sore groin from previous days exercise. Let's see here, too keep up on the history of my progression, I"ll list what I did tonight. Actually, the simple things I couldn't do :x

Horrible consistancy with string length. Decent strong DLO's, but flip was very difficult. Flip pixies were being difficult, flip stepping was hard. Heck, good stepping was hard. My clipper sets didn't ever feel very good. I didn't play very long because of poor performance and then later tweaked my back attemping drifters. :x I did do my stretches, but I forgot to warm up my back with some stretches. I hope I've shakin out all my bad playing cause I'd really like to play well at WVU with the boys.

Had a nice session after work today. It's just what I needed. I didn't play overly hard because my groin is still a tad tight and I didn't want to do something stupid right before I go to WVU to shred. A lot of 2, 3, 4 adds, raking variations, spin attempts, swirls, and strings. Nothing beats having a great time while you shred.

As for this Sat. I work until 1:00. So I"ll leave directly from work to WVU, so if you have any thing you want me to bring to you Brad (from your house or whatever) or any other directions, leave'm here or call me. I'm going to bring the video camera and plan on making a video. Looking forward to seein all of ya (Brad, Bob, Caleb) !

Meet at the Rec Center at 4 I guess. Directions to my dorm are a little weird so it'd just be easier to meet there since you've been there. It's open until midnight so there'll be plenty of time. There might be a place near my dorm to play in for free as well. I'm just not sure when those rooms are used or unlocked

I've got two things that would be cool if you could get for me. Jordan has my guitar cable (it's black with gold thread along it). It's probably hooked up to my amp. Ask him for it. I need that and my Ibanez from my house. I can tell my mom you're coming to get it at one or something. That would be awesome because this acoustic is too loud for the floor and I want to practice.

See you soon.

Fun fun fun !!! Great weekend with Brad and Caleb at WVU. First day we went to the Recreation Center...guess what day it was. Treat Your Guests day or something like that, so pretty much we had the whole center to ourselves, for free !! BOOOYAH ! Shred it up and filmed ,I didn't play that great. Hurt my left knee a bit midway through. Dead tired that night after playing Gradius III forever, went to sleep on nice tile floor.

Woke up the next day and beat Gradius, which is the hardest most impossible game to beat on console, I beat the ROM version on PC, so it took me a lot of save points to beat it. We went to this one small diner called the...uhh...what is that place called brad ?? All I know is they had a cute waitress, kickass selection of beer, homemade chips that I've never had before, and this delicious fried eggs 'n' cheese sub which was boooooooomb !!! We later found a place to play indoors, but got kicked out cause we were filming. So we went outside and then the battery died like 10 minutes later. I was also capturing some film and it looks like, somehow Brad was 'ghost' filming the whole time outside, cause there wasn't any footage when we got outside...

It was a great weekend and I wish I could do it more often. I picked out the song that I'm going to edit to, so you'll have to wait and see. I'll upload it and post it in here once the edit is done, shouldn't be very long...lil under 3 minutes or so. Next stop, Pitt University !!

Yeah, I don't know what happened to that footage because the camera was on for a little while. There were some good shots out there too. Sorry I didn't play that day. I just wasn't feeling too great. Hope you guys don't get sick, haha.

I don't remember the name of the place. It is just across the street. Maybe I'll find out sometime

For footblog history - this is the worst V-Day ever -

- 1 hour of sleep
- Bombed a final
- More finals to come
- Rahzel is going to be in OU this weekend , and I'm going to CHarlotte, NC
- Still recovering from cold
- and of course, I've set record for 22 years without a valentine.
- I'm leaning towards crosstraining more through the winter and less playing.
- oh yeah, My Freestyle Reality DVD won't play.
- Usually some liquor would just release the tension, but I'm too tired and poor to do so.
- And now, it's time to go to work.
