Changing from Pellets to Sand

I've been kicking for about three years. I used to do it a whole lot, but I stopped for almost a year, cause none of my friends did it, so I had no one to do it with. Just lately I got back into it. I got all my basics back, jesters, clippers, dragonfly kicks, etc. In my whole life, I've never used anything but crappy crocheted bags. Except once when I made a home made 4 panel, but it sucked. I just bought a Kanga 32 panel sandbag, I'm currently waiting for it to be shipped. What I want to know, is what kind of difference to expect. I've heard that they stall easier, and you have more control and such, but I have nightmares of getting it and having it just flop off my feet. Does anyone have any comments on making the transition? Am I going to go "Oh hey, that's a bit easier", or more like "My gawd, why have I been wasting my time with other crappy bags all my life"? Thanks in advance.
PS Any kickers from PEI, Canada here?

dont worry, the kanga will probably feel very familiar, if you are used to crappy, crotched bags.

It will definitely be more stallable than a crocheted bag, however it will not be as stally as alot of other bags that are out there.

I don't think there are any other PEI shredders on here unfortunately.

Holy shit, Tom fuckin Mosher. Been awhile. When I first started kicking I added you on msn. I don't know if you remember, but I was the kid who found that site with tons of bag patterns, it was originally made for juggling balls or something. I think last time I talked to you, you were trying to sell some shirts or something, but I was broke. Anyways, I'll be seeing you around.

My first sandbag was also a 32-kanga. I did find it to make a decent difference, but the best bag for your money in my opinion is the mr. sandbag from freedomfootbags.com.
As long as you have good shoes your kanga will respond pretty well, just remember to give it a bath fairly often as mine tended to stiffen up pretty fast.

your post is funny because most people makes posts saying "changing from sand to pellets- what can I expect?"

once your bag breaks in, itll be waaay better than a crocheted bag.
