What makes you think that way? :P
(the comments what I wrote about your spelling when you're drunk? :D)

Well, he's the only one who's actually accommodated me. :) Actually I stayed at my godfather's during the Worlds, but he doesn't play footbag nor reads my blog. ;)

Actually I should thank Anssi for inviting me to Turku - without that I would've done infinities and pdx mirages with a plant until the Worlds and my game would suck 100x more than now. Oh yes, and gave me tips with DOD-dexing.

...back to the topic:
I checked what I got on tape yesterday. My Ripwalk record (3 ) was probably the only 'cool' thing I documented. I'll try to shoot those challenge drills next time.

Hmm...anyone heard of the security problems of Microsoft? I've been avoiding downloading stuff for this week and I think I'll stick to that until they get a decent update public. Id est no footbag videos, and I'd really like to see the Max's 1-hour long vid. I should get the DivX too. But I guess it's worth to wait for the good, hopefully it's still online. :P
I should get the DivX for other reasons too - I still haven't watched the Star Wreck. :D

Nothing new from the filming front, I need a) more proper material b) to download the editing programme and c) the most important thing, the equipment (FireWire card & cable). It appears that dad's laptop, my sister's laptop and mom's both laptops have the card in 'em, but I can't use them either cause everyone needs them for working. Or my sister maybe doesn't but I don't even bother to try asking her to borrow it for me. :?

If you wonder why this post was total garbage, the answer is that I didn't shred today nor did anything else important. Yes, this post is garbage.

Bought new shred shorts today. They were "ClimaLite technical shorts for soccer" and cost under 10€ due to the winter and the after-Christmas sales.
Now I know I can shred better. :)
I've got a bunch of clima-stuff now; climacool t-shirt, climacool socks x2 and now climalite shorts, so basically almost all of my shredding gear is clima-something. Except for the shoes - I tried to look for the Clima Euros in the Intersport but I guess no-one sells/buys them in winter.

Hmm...what's the word again? Fetish? :P

Games tomorrow, I'll probably keep on filming.
I'll go to write some runs/combos down now, it would be nice to get something decent on tape... ;)

Unfortunately not. :( I've got absolutely no money.
How long are/were you staying in Tampere? I maybe could have made it to there if my folks didn't have these neighbour's 50-yrs birthdays at the same time. I actually was in Tampere yesterday. :)

This made me think again about organizing a small shred jam in Tampere sometime...

---

I'm going to shred today and my brother might come to help with the filming. I've written down a very ambitious +20-contact guiltless run. ;) No idea how far I can shred that but at least I'm going to start training it hard. :)

January the 6th '06 [yesterday]

I'm not going back to tiltless anymore unless someone challenges me (which I don't wish). :)
Yesterday I hit my guiltless and tripless records.

12 contacts guiltless:
Ripwalk > pdx mirage > smear > plo > dimwalk > ripwalk > osis > infinity > ducking clipper > ss butterfly > whirl > pdx mirage > drop (dimwalk attempt)

4 contacts tripless:
Ripwalk > blur > dimwalk > ripwalk > drop (ripwalk(?) attempt)

I've got the both on tape too. :) ...sadly that's pretty much all that was worth to film yesterday. ;)

I think I should check if I've got any homework from school. I haven't opened my school bag even ONCE during the holidays, and the school starts on Monday. :P

School started. (That's all I'm going to say about that.)
---

I shredded for over an hour and a half today. I play on the school's stage that is straight next to the sport hall (there's only the curtain between the spaces). Someone had put a "No Passage" sign to the door that takes to the stage but I entered anyway. I'm such a kind student who can do whatever he wants. :P
About the shred session: played guiltless, not that long but still guiltless. I tried one string tiltless and it felt really funny. I sealed Double-Over Down with another trick for the first time, DOD > infinity > pdx mirage. I tried to repeat that but I still need to practise it. Then I trained Torques and Drifters, I had a pause of hitting them and they're kind of lost but I'll get them back.
What I'm really happy about is that my Whirls are quite solid now. :)

I've got to stretch now, my groin bothered me a bit today.

Can there be any better way to use the philosophy lesson than footbag? :P

(The lesson was cancelled, I have actually nothing against philosophy.)
But yeah, shred!
I did drilling, skooling and practising.

THE DRILL: Ripwalk > Pdx Mirage > Smear > PLO > Dimwalk > rpt. Quite similar to one of the previous strings I hit, but I thought this was nice. :)

THE SKOOL: I hit Double-Over Down both sides to the start of a string, I tried to bee-sauce it with DOD > Infinity > Pdx Mirage > rpt but didn't manage to hit that. I'll skool that more next time.
I also skooled Ducking Clipper a bit.
I'm close to Torques and Drifters again, both sides in both tricks are pretty equal in my opinion. I'll get them 'back' soon.

...AND THE PRACTICE: Both Gyro Mirages are equally close, I'm hoping to hit them soon. I'm also preparing to start training the gyro clip > spinning clip > rpt drill.

Next session will be on Friday I guess. Tomorrow I've got hockey at school and floorball after school, but if it's raining we'll play badminton instead of ice hockey so I may get a small session tomorrow too. :)
Anssi told me on MSN to hit Blur > Dimwalk > rpt, I'm confident I can hit that --> I'll be trying that next time.

Ugh, my legs feel like wreck. :)

Today I packed hockey gear, footbag gear and other indoor sport gear to a big sport bag and carried it all around the places today. Mainly just for nothing, because we didn't have hockey then, and the skates etc. stuff are the heaviest and the largest things I had with me. :?

First at school we played badminton and handball but I played also a bit footbag. After school I and one of my friends had to run over a kilometer to the "youth house" were we had a "youth parliament" meeting about some upcoming party. Then we ran quickly back to make it to the floorball match we had too today.
After the game I had about an hour wait 'til my bus would come. First I had planned that I'd go back to the youth house, but in the meeting I heard that it wouldn't be open anymore on Thursdays (the meetings are exceptions). So it seemed that I should spent the whole hour at the almost empty school just sitting around, but I decided to put Lavers on and started shredding again.
I played for only 30 minutes because my legs were pretty tired at that point. I tried the Blur > Dimwalk > rpt but couldn't hit that yet. Very likely I could hit it with "fresh" legs, I was close today too.

I'll try that tomorrow if I'll shred, although I may just rest. I think I'll go stretching now, otherwise I can't move at all tomorrow. :P

An easy 1.5-hour session for me.
There are two reasons why it was easy. My legs were like lead and one of my toes hurt - Lavers aren't good for running, I always get blisters or something after I do that. Obviously I try to avoid it but yesterday I wore them at sports lesson.

Even though, I got Blur > Dimwalk > rpt on tape and Ripwalk > pdx mirage > smear > PLO > dimwalk > rpt too. :D
And sealed DOD on tape, still didn't beesauce it. I think my dexes are "a bit" thin but I guess it'll get better with practice. ;)

I think next time I'll start practising completely new sets for me: swirling, barraging and fairy at least. My spinning/gyro and ducking/diving components could be better too.

Blah, Friday night and nothing to do - wait! Oh yes, I'll go practise fairy set barefeet and then I'll watch the Terminator. 8)

Happy birthday Lauri.

Upload Blur > Dimwalk > rpt to your computer so you can send it to me on msn!! You can send those other drills too!
Actually I think that you should edit some video already!

Thanks.

I found the USB-cable, I'll try if it works tomorrow (hadn't time today). I'll also download the editing programme and stop wasting my time, i.e. doing anything else than editing (...well maybe shredding too).

Back to you tomorrow, I'll shred (and maybe film) too.

Shredded yesterday but didn't film.
I hit Blur > Dimwalk > rpt again, I'm trying to hit Blur > Dimwalk > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Blur > Dimwalk.
I hit some nice guiltless strings but can't remember any because I mainly just improvised (and didn't film...).
Anyways, I was pleased. :D

Hmm, I didn't manage to do anything to the raw footage with computer yesterday evening. :?
I tried to download the Avid Free DV editing software but for some reason the computer (or I ) couldn't do it... I haven't tested yet if I can get the footage to the computer just with the normal USB-cable, without any editing software. I doubt it, but I'll try it after school.

Just get windows movie maker, that's simple enough and cool and everything.
You can upload footage to your comp with that and encode it.

But you should also be able to move stuff to you comp directly from you camera.

Yeah thanks, Anssi. I just found out that I've got the Movie Maker. *I'm too lazy to start editing today, I'll go for it tomorrow. ;)*

Now some stretching!
