It seems like all my sessions are the same, so its hard to post what I hit, because it's nothing really new. still trying to quest for the spin. tried to catch up my flip spin yesterday. drilled consecutive spins (can't seem to get past three

), spin clip>gyro>clip rpt (new personal best of 7 contacts), spin clip>spin osis>rpt, spin osis>rpt, step ss clip> gyro clip>rpt, spin butters, gyro mirage, spin mirage. my spins are still quite craptacular. my gyro mirages feel nothing like any of my other spinning moves. even the set feels drastically different. is this normal? I've also ben slacking on drifters and flip whirl. they are losing consistency every session. can't wait till css though. don't know if i'll compete.

Kicked footbag yesterday. Some turd got mad because I was kicking hack and tried to kick us out of the middle school then called the cops when I wouldn't leave; I didn't have to because my mom works there, but anywho. The cop even thought it was lame.

played on friday. the day after the best spin session of my life, and I couldn't hit a single flip spin clip. was fun though. started a good sized string with atomsmasher>eggbeater>rpt. have been trying a new drill that is just out of my reach: tripwalk>pdx dlo>atomsmasher>rpt. only got four contacts and then replaced the fifth with legbeater

I was happy though.
most everything else was bop>bop>bop>rpt
Evans b-day was a blast. we had some delicious pizza at mackenzie river pizza co. and then proceeded to drinking. the beer went very quickly. Ben tore it up outside with the fire poi.
I was trying to schedule my classes around this flagship footbag program that I did last semester but I really need the literary and artistic studies credit that is at the same time.

well, no going back. I finalized my schedule

Turns out the turd that was giving me shit was a cop. Damn bacon. Oh well, my mom said I had every right to be there and to get her if he gives me shit next time. That's good. Hit my first alpine set today from a flip fairy. Hit fairy diving clipper. That was about it. I'm going to take the next day off from footbag so I can kick on Thursday and whatnot. I'm still in the process of moving my stuff into my basement. I need to repaint the walls because my brother did a shitty job, but oh well. The only thing that sucks about my room is there's no windows, so my room clambakes like a mother; it makes it smell too funny.

had quite possibly the best session of my life today. it was the first beautiful and somewhat warm day of '06 and so me and riley kicked in the middle of campus to anticon beats. Everything felt on today (except spins

). My strings were a lot longer than they normally are and my downtime drilling is paying off. dlos and eggbeaters feel the same on both sides. felt like working on bigger moves as well:

school is already kicking my ass. signed up for more credits than I've ever taken. spent four hours last night on an assignment that should have taken an hour. English and writing are my worst subjects, so I signed up for a creative writing--fiction class to work on it. bad idea. I think I may be in over my head

kicked last night. got pixie opp whirl bsos for the first time ever. was pretty stoked about that. jere wanted me to try symp torque. I don't think i've ever tried it. I got the dex but that's about it. i can't get the very last few degrees of twist. I could probably catch it frigid to avoid the twist, but i'd rather hit the move properly. any advice anyone? james? i know you've hit it before.

symp torque is hard. I actually couldn't hit it the other day when I tried., so I'm pretty much lame on that one.

It's the Missoula Footbag Alliances 3rd birthday today. there will be cake and shred (not necessarily in that order

). I'm gonna try to get off work to make it.

weird thing happened last night. I went bowling with some friends and there was this guy there that looked really familiar and so I started with the small talk:

me: you from missoula?
billy:yeah, I grew up here
me:really, where'd you go to high school
billy: i graduated from Loyola years ago
me: oh, did you know scotty welch?
billy: yeah, I grew up right next to him

this is where I started freaking out. the reason this kid looked familiar is because I grew up two houses down from him on the opposite side of scotty welches house. I never really talked to him because he was 8 years older than me. it clicked with him too and we just started talking about the old neighborhood. I haven't seen that kid in over ten years!!!!

I sent a very angry e-mail to my supervisor at work today. basically, because of an error he made, I might be forced to quit

I work at the campus library and have been there for over a year. the work schedules are first come first serve and you have to work at least ten hours. I signed up for ten hours that wouldn't interfere with all of the obligations I have this semester. I was the first to sign up for a 5:30am-7:30am shift and somehow got removed from the schedule. that shift is now full of workers and they want to give me different hours now because of their mess up. I can't work other hours, I signed up for the only hours I could work. I may be forced to quit. that really pisses me off. especially after all of the job promotions and other job offers that they have given me. i'm the only one that actually works. arghhhhhhhhh pissed off!!!!!!!

had a solo sess yesterday. 90% of each solo session now consists of just spin clip>handcatch>flipside>handcatch>rpt. thought i'd try out some barrages. i've hit more barraging sets than barrages which isn't a good thing. it will definitely help out my game to learn them. I'm gonna start schooling them after css. got bsos toe barrage for the first time. also got toe barrage>paradon>string. drilled flip whirl as well.
