Winter shred

Post by Guest_2 »

We all know the hardcore shredders like Johnny and Mosher just put on gloves and a hat.

But for the rest of us-where do you play during the winter?

It sucks, but I play outside in the winter.

I just wear a long sleeve shirt and try to hit easier stuff.

Sweater and gloves. I try to put a bandana on to keep my hair up from blocking my vision during play as well.

I play in a train station, under a roofed area outside, or at a park. Unfortunately, all three locations are cold...

Forgot to add, but usually NYFA likes to shred at a dance studio during the winter months when it gets cold. Have to pay to play though...

Every Sunday we play at a local basketball court. Every time we are about 15-20 people, we have net and freestyle...and what else..it is cool to play in a big hall :D ... and it costs only 1 - 1.5 USD per person for 3 hours shred...

Rain City Shred plays in a YMCA MP room for free every Saturday and Thursday. Our club has been sponsored in this manner for the last two or three years.

Since like November, I have been shredding in my basement and I'm so used to carpet now. I dont want to go out on cement anymore, but I'll have to when summer comes around. But here in Pittsburgh, its in the high 30's with rain or snow.
