Who plays whit Carol bag?
What is your opinion about it?
Is this size good for shredding?

Carol bags are good, but there's a lot of great stitchers a lot closer to you. You can get a high-quality footbag a lot cheaper on your continent. Good luck finding one!

I have already played with Carol bag, but I'd like to know diferrent people's opinoin about it.
I was wondering that I have not found a topic whit this name.

Not many people actually play with carols(i think) ... mainly because (this is totally my opinion) they are way to delicate, and thin, and rip easy and shit
plus contacting carol is sometimes hard, and then it might take a while before the bag gets to you.

but yea, i've played with a couple of carols ... some of them, when they break in, are pretty big ... as in too big, as in big floppy sand bag big

Yes I know that its matter is very thin. It reduces the bags durablity, but far easier to stall it.

-All- of the Carol's I've played with have been amazing bags, some of the best. Take care of your bags and durability shouldn't be much of an issue...

I think alot of the negative press regarding her bags happened right after Worlds 2004 when a number of bags people got there just fell apart.

Prior to that all you'd ever hear were over the top glowing reviews of her bags.

It could have been something as tragically unfortunate as a bad batch of material, I really don't think it's fair to bash her bags like this without knowing the full sitch.

All the carols Ive seen have been excellently stitched, a few had *material flaws* but that most likely isn't the fault of the stitcher.

I want a carol now..

Funny you should mention... I got a beautiful Carol bag at Worlds 2004. I just kicked with it last night. It does have some holes, and I treat it extra-careful, but overall it has held up pretty well. It is, after all, about 1+1/2 years old, and I have put it through its paces. I was just thinking last night how well it was playing.

Not so long ago, when there were fewer sewers out there, Carol Bags were the Gold Standard of freestyle bags. They are still just as good as they ever were, though the tastes of the freestylers has changed a little, as it has been for many years, always tending towards a preference for smaller and smaller bags. Now there are more sewers, and Carol is sewing less and less these days, perhaps not at all anymore. The end of an era. In the late 90's and the first couple years of this century, Carol's bags were very highly sought after, probably the most desireable bags around.

Gold Standard? Now I want a Carol too...

One of us NYFA had a Carol that I had only felt in my hands - Josh Penney. The material is way thin and silky smooth, and it was pretty average in terms of a generic freestyle bag, where it was just a bit bigger than a golfball. Anyway, just feeling it compelled me not to even let it touch the ground or my feet, seeing that cement seemed like it would slice up the Carol bag's beauty.

I have an never shredded yellow and purple carol in my room right now. Bought it at worlds 04, after one day of finger breakin one panel became twice the size of all the other panels and I decided to just give up then and have not touched it since.

seems to me like the reason her bags are not currently popular, is that no one talks about the new carol they just received, and the price is 35$. I might just be speaking for myself, but I would rather have a recently well reviewed 25$ dollar bag. Especialy when you add on S+H.

Unexplainable. Just better.

The panels are all poofy. Each side is so even. Better Colors.

I use almost exclusively Carol bags for competition.

Word. I cannot agree more with everything stated here.

I've had several such bags but it still does not change the fact that all the bags I've ordered before were absolutely fantastic. After the relatively short break-in time they were almost always the first choice of bags to play with. Worth every penny I've spent.

i've had good and bad experiences with carols, but most of the bags i have played with have all been top notch! if you can get her to stitch you one, by all means, do it!
