2nd time lighting it on fire. Pretty stoked about the results. I end up destroying a freedom after about 30 seconds. Any ideas for a nice shred bag that can take some heat? I'm going to try the chain mail bag from freedom footbags next.
It happens just outside of the camera's view, but after the torque is hit I hand caught it, putting it out (no O2) and throw it on the ground.
This was at a fire & ice party in Missoula. Fire poi, staff, nunchuck, and diablo were all there and there was a snowboard/ski ramp to a rail around. Fun times in Montucky...
Used a Freedom Footbag cause it plays so nice. Definetly ends up being destroyed after about 30 seconds though. A hole is burnt in one of the panels and the fuel soaked fill comes out like flaming plasma. Kinda crazy.

I checked out www.firefootbag.com and it looks like a great KICKING bag. Anybody used it for shred???
I ordered one of those firehacks a long time ago. They actually last surprisingly long. Although, they aren't very good for shredding they are pretty big and don't sit well, but they kick really well and you can do flyers and stuff. The flame is real big too. You may be able to shred with it if you take some of the filler out, but the material they use to crochet the bag is pretty stiff.

Not a bad idea, although I only have one and I'm not giving it up (too nice to be able to play "under-cover" in kicking circles and still like the bag)

The Chainmaille bag would NOT work for that. Trust me.
1: Metal isn't absorbant.
2: Even if you did manage to douse it and light it fast enough it would go out quickly and possibly send out little burning drops of whatever you doused it in.
Go with a bag that's made for it and you have less of a chance of being hurt.
