Mosher bags

if anybody has played with a Tom Mosher bag, please let me know how they play, and how well they are sewn.

Hey,

I'd actually rather this not be done for a few reasons.

My bags have changed ALOT over the past few months and any review would be totally outdated and irrelevant.. aka pointless.

My old bags have basically nothing to do with how I am making them now so reviews of old bags would be nothing more than a review of how I used to make bags.

Considering I am the only person in the world with one of my current style bags I will give a review:

I like this bag alot, it's soft and just the right weight and I could shred it almost right away! The filler is like nothing Ive felt before.

It's strange, I was discussing just this exact situation earlier today.

Also, to save time here is a review of bags of my various old styles (which I no longer use)
- big and juicy
- bad filler (from rocks to poly n stuff to whatever)
- too plush for my liking
- too small, wouldn't break in
- etc.

I'm still (not so) patiently awaiting the arrival of my mosher bag. From what I understand they rule, but hurry up and get it here already, Tom!

thanks tom, i would like to comment that although i have never had one of your bags. the filler sounds like a really good idea, that is if your using the
Steel bb's, poly pellets, and rubber fill. once my juice facile is to broken in i will propably buy one of your bags

Hey Reggie,

The panels for your bag have been cut out, I am working my way through a pile of orders, your bag is the next one I will be starting on.

One thing can be said about my bags for sure, I take FOREVER to process orders.

I remember you telling me that aquarium rocks and bbs were the way to go for filler, Tom

the new filler does sounds super-cool... I think I'm going to drill holes through the soles of my lavers (when my G-units arive) as I've seen done on other shoes. I'm going to put the rubber from that into a bag... just to try it.

Yeah, filler is a constantly evolving process I think. I made a strong recommendation on precise grams of specific filler, more specifically 25g of bbs, and now I feel that is not optimal, and much less should be used. I guess the good 'ol trial and error toward refinement tactic is still the best way to go.

i played with kyle hewitts Mosher bag, but he got his like 4 months ago so its proably out dated, but the one i played with was really good, i liked it

I have a few newer moshers and they are playing really well. His newest style right now, we're testing. It's really nice to play with right off the bat, but we need to see the long-term life of this bag to really give it a fair assessment. For now though, it's looking very promising.

Yeah, rubber is very abrasive to facile, and with break-in, can tear up a perfectly stitched mosher bag like crazy. Not so much with aquraium rocks, but you get the picture.

And I think I have an idea on a stitching pattern finally, and choice of colors (pink is definitely one of them). Now I just need to specify it clearly in a way and get some cash flow building up.
