Wow! I haven't been posting in a while, but this has inspired one. That's great news Tom!!! Any chance I can test out the prototype :wink:

While I'm on the subject, have you, or are you planning on experimenting with new materials (i.e. not the boring ol' mesh and heavy rubber we're so used to.)? If you have what are you planning on using?

Yes of course!

We will determine the best materials possible.

I met the other two members of my group and they are very enthused too, this is going to be huge guys!

mosher wrote:BIG NEWS!!

So today was a BIG step forward for the footbag shoe!

Today my group was formed and given the go ahead to start on the full-out design of the shoe. We have a $1000 budget and DUNCAN TOYS as our industry connection.

This class is a group design class where you take on one large project and you go beyond proposing a solution, you are actually expected to produce working prototypes and test them. So this means that at the end of the semester I will have a nearly finalized design of the shoe with a WORKING PROTOTYPE. Steve from Duncan Toys has already expressed an interest in helping create this shoe.. so expect big things in the near future!!

FOOOTBAAAG! :D
8O SICK TOM! And its not only Peng who already loves you! :oops: :oops:

Tom, you will get laid more frequently if you send us some pictures. Trust me, karma is a scientifically proven fact. The theory of karma states that:
The rate at which you post pics of your shoe concept varies jointly with the amount of hot girls that hump you and the frequency multiplied by the intensity at which they do it, and it varies inversely with the quantity of uglies that attempt to get in your pants.

The formula is r=kh(fI)/u
where:
r=rate of picture posts
k=the constant
h=hotitude of woman
f=frequency
I=intensity
u=ugly

Theres no pics to show really. All I have are a few rough drawings from last term that are merely concepts and not really anything.

There will be cool shoe pictures in a while.
