so today was my first day back to work since i got a screw in my foot.

the day was going good and we where almost done, when all of the sudden.

I STEPED ON ANOTHER FUCKING SCREW AND GOT IT THROUGH THE SAME FOOT AS THE OTHER ONE WENT THROUGH

that shit is just re-god-damn-diculous

this one doesnt hurt nearly as bad and it didnt go in as deep so this one is minor. but the fact that i got another screw in my foot is crazy. so i dont know how long its gonna be till i play footbag again. it should be find by the time CSS comes around. i think i will be playing in a week.

Maybe put some strips of steel in your shoes... or find a new job. That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Imagine if you ever fell down. 8O You'd be DEAD!

its not that there are screws just lying around wating for someone to step on. its just that my foot manages to find the ones that are sticking straight up.

i just woke up and forgot about the second hole in my foot, i went to take a step and just fell over because of the pain i have in my foot.

i havent gone to any of my classes all week, i either have a really hard time walking becuase of the pain, or i cant drive becuase of the medication im on.

so now im really behind in all of my classes. i cant play footbag. i can hardly walk, and these pills im on for pain dont let me do much of anything. im hoping next week goes a little better.

well today was the first time i got to play since i got a screw through my foot. the session wasnt terrible but i didnt hit anything new. im kinda dissapointed on how i played. but my foot is still in a small amount of pain so i guess i cant complain.

i did pop a stich on my mirken bag today when i stepped on it. that upset me and ended my session. but it just feels really good to play again.

i need some help on flip pixie sets, my strongside is fine but for some reason no matter how hard i school it i just cant get my flipside pixie set. any pointers?

Hey!

Glad to hear your able to kick again! Now, watch out for screws!!!

Don't worry about the bad session too much, you'll start to get better soon. After taking some time off, you're always gonna be rusty when you start again and an injury just adds to the problem.

Good luck!

Practice doing them low without pushing out your hip too much. I think its something to work on after a session when you've got nothing else to do ie bored. Try doing them barefoot. You'd be surprised how fast you can do 500 pixie attempts w/ no shoes and nothing better to do.

soo my g-units came in the mail today. i was going to take a nap when i got home but then i found the package and immediatley modded them. i will post some pictures later tonight.

today was one of the best solo shreds i have ever had, i warmed up with a new drill

infinity>osis>infinity
i practiced this a lot today and now i feel a lot more smoother

most of my strings where good today, decent legnth but most of it was guiltless.

p drifter for the first time
ps whirl footed both sides
and some other highlights where

ripwalk, sidewalk, and blur bsos all in the same string. that felt really good.

im glad to be off the injury and progressing again before i goto CSS7

so i have been playing a lot again, everyday once again and im loving it.

i play really well in my g6's and i love that when i play downstairs in the basement on smooth pavment my shoes actually squeak and i dont slip.

on sunday i went down to ann arbor to kick with greg before the super bowl. we had a pretty good session he hit porque and ducking torque, plus he hit 28 symp mirages in a row. his record in in the 40's i think. i had some pretty good string length and i hit sidewalk and ripwalk bsos a few time. my strongside atomic set and my flipside pixie set are starting to come along also. im starting to learn some ducking and some spinning stuff, bassically just clipper but i mean thats a start. and i hit blurage for the first time.

i really need to take a day off becuase im really sore from playing so much and i need to give my body a chance to heal. so i dont think im going to play tommorow. i need to go and see my economics tutor anywho.

today my freind and i went looking at apartments and we found a pretty cheap one that includes gas, heat, and water for 625 a month, and its a 2 bedroom. i think we are going to move into it shortly after spring break which is the begining of march. I CANT WAIT TO GET MY OWN PLACE.

Good work playing everyday 8O
I like playing everyday, but then it sort of becomes a habit, and even if I should rest for a day, it is hard to.
Anyway, where is your going-to-be apt. at?

just got back from ann arbor about 2 hours ago and we had a really good session.

i hit some very nice shuffle lines where i was hitting stepping sets on both sides.

i hit smear>dimwalk>ripwalk>blur>parkwalk>sidewalk>osis>far osis>torque

i also hit 7 ripwalks (there TJ)

and as the session went on i seemed to bust even longer string.

ended the session with hitting ps whirl for the first time. i love that trick.
