Session went down monday, a whole bunch of people showed up, but I'll let them speak for themselves. This isnt just a Laroche blog, you guys are permitted, nay, ENCOURAGED to write in here!

I played shitty. Only good thing was hitting Quantum Drifter, then handcatch, then Quantum Blender. Other then that it was shit on shit, piled under loads of shit. With crap sprikled too.

Mathieu: Yeah man, Koa and JM still kick. They are improving, which is nice to see. JM sort of hit a plateau, but hes slowly advancing beyond it. Koa is somehow getting more consistant, which is odd as, to me, he seems to never look confident hitting a trick, but then he'll just be like WHAM ducking butterfly > ps whirl in my face, so yeah.

James is style. Nothing else to add. He needs to write about himself here, because he rocks.

Ianek... well. you'll see.

Also Seb is BACK!!! Man it feels god to see him kicking again, and hopefuly his knee injury will heal up completely in time for summer.

Project: Shred is off the hook. I can't stress how awesome this is going to be once it comes out completely. Ianek slays drums like spaniards conquering aztecs. Its truly sick. His drums really inspire me when I write music, its nice to have a base to build off of instead of looking at a blank screen for 4-5 hours, which is normally how long it takes me to get an idea worthy of pursuit.

Solo shred tommorow. Peace out peeps.

Xavier come tonight! I will be there 100%, along with whoever else. The last time I kicked with you was when I was a noob hitting heel stalls.

I don't think there will be any footage for a while, suits me fine since I still have some catching up to do, but I will say this, we are going to REP.

So a demo went down yesterday at a community center in the SW of Montreal, and it went fairly well.

There was a BUTTLOAD of little fat kids, which was cool and not at the same time. ITs fun having an audience, but, well, its a bunch of little fat kids. Its still a great feeling though doing a string, and looking up to a little porker staring at you with his beady little eyes open in wonder, and snot running from his lieft nostril in disregard because you just blew his fucking brain away with your freestyle.

Ianek was repping, and thats all I will say. And I wants the Goonits. Thos things stick to every kind of surace, its so awesome. I hate slipping on floors with my crusty stinky lavers. He hit a couple new moves, and was playing well, was awesome.

I played OK, accounting for the floor. Swirling sets were on and so were fairy swirling, which im proud to say are as clean as a knock knock joke. Started dropping alot, but consistancy picked up a bit later on mid-sesh.

The important thing for me will be to drill my fundamentals on my flip. For example, im having problems with my flip step and flip whirl, they just feel awkward. So, im gonna do a bunch of Whirl > Stepping clip rpt to get them up to par.

And those damn flip double downs. Im embarrassed to hit them in public.. hit is too strong of a word. Flop them. My ankle gets flopy and I look like a drunk trying to get one.. I dont really understand, as my flip DATW is not too shabby. Theres just something not working right... they're just not "clicking".

Project: Shred is adnvacing, albeit slowly.. im not used to doing mixes, so its a challenge to get a bunch of tracks to sound good in succession. Its CONSTANTLY going back to your songs and teaking and working on them.. a bit of a pain, but itt'll be worth it when we finally get this down.

Next shred is tommorow, and im just going to play.. ill do some serious drilling on wednesday and friday. I also wanna set my own trends and be be a natural hotti this summer, so my schedule is going to be: Shred one day, Upper body excercises the next day, rpt. Hopefuly this will help my game too.

I havent gotten drunk in a while! Feels nice to have a bit of cash. I havent quit drinking, im just taking it easy with the whole move thing going on at the same time... the cash flow must be regulated.

And uhhh... thats it. There will probably be some MAJOR news tommorow once I get confirmation for something, so be on the lookout drooglings.

Signing off,
Nicky Dynamite

Noora: Wassup! For the uninfrmed, shes Finland's newest shredita, with more potential then kernals in a microwave.

Mr. Crowley: They deserve it. Fat people can unfatten themselves if they really wanted to. Just thinking about them riles me up.

Ok, on the the meat and potatoes of the post. SHRED!!!

...

...

It fucking sucked. I skipped my situps today because I figured my abs got enough of a workout bending down to pick up the bag. Lets see, maybe theres some mentionables.. zulu whirl, flip gyro swirl... thats about it, I guess. a bunch of decently clean pdx fusions.

Ianek played OK, but I've seen him rip it harder. Koa was doing really well!! SOOOO close to blurry whirl, and his style finally looks a little less wild and he was consistantly hitting both his steps midstring. Proppers for you Koa.

Thats about it footbag wise... im pretty stoked about a chickyboo I've known and had an interest for in a while returning the interest, and looks like we MAY be hooking up, ill know pho sho the next time we hang out, since she invited me to her place for.. stuff.

Im EXCITED about the JAM!!!!!! WOO its going to be off the hook, and flyer then peter-pan.

Went to a party that was a tribute to Jay Dee, they played his music allllll night, fantastic vibe. Smoother then ice cream on a baby's ass.

Peace out !!!!

Hey Montreal, long time no post. So Koa is doing huge progression, that's nice. Ianek is for me a magicien, like this summer we shred the both of us for a short time, he explained me the whirl things, and after 15 mn, pdx whirl and blurry whirl. Since then, i didn't work much those concept. It was an honor to play with Nic Laroche, for me, he's a serial shredder. And how about Kolo, i never see him in this site, how is he? I might come in Montreal in August, maybe September. Can't wait to see you guys.

Wow... im honoured, Augstin, that you think im a serial shredder! Its was cool kicking with you too, you improve so damn fast.

In fact everyone does. Thats my whole problem. I've always wanted to be "beyond good" but I KNOW that I can't... my attention is divided between too many interests, like music, and soon, boxing. Believe it or not, boxing is my favorite sport and I can't wait to get involved on a personal level.

Today marks the first time I've shredded in like 3 weeks. Nothing interesting happened. Very strange to notice how much I really suck. In fact, Jordens video almost wanted to make me quit completely it was so fucking disgusting. But I digress...

Life catches up to you every now and then, especially when all you younglings hit your 20+'s and you become officialy an adult no matter where you are in the world. It's so easy to say footbag is your passion and then WHAM life gives you a couple of low blows and a 1 2 to your face and there it goes. I love watching footbag, but I don't think im going to play to improve anymore. I've made BAP, I've invented tricks and inspired a (very) few players, so thats it.

What else is there? Why bother competing with people who believe in the sport more then I do? My playing time is going to be entierly based off of getting a good cardio workout and enjoying myself. When I can I'll shred with James, my Dynamic Duo Partner, but thats it, im basically resigning from footbag. Music has taken my soul over, and my athletic prowess (or lack thereof) is going into boxing. This will also be one of my last posts on modified, and yeah... thats it.

Christ does it feel weird to say im not doing anything with footbag anymore. It's been such a huge part of my life, but people change, and my era is over, it's time to evolve in a new direction.

Keep it real yall!!!!! Peace.

Yeah, I'm kind of the same way. I stick around because I like the people that play and it gives me an reason to travel. The more people that drop out the less appealing that becomes even. But like you said, times change.

I may be in Montreal in June. We'll pick up some chicks and party like it's 1999. Good luck with boxing. Later!
