Yo thanks Hagesy. I cant believe that Toby would say that haha. I dont mind posts like you guys at all but i just dont want any 1 sentence irrlevant posts thats all.

Anyways my day started with a visit to the chiropractors...for the first time i actually was looking forward to going to a treatment place..mainly because the chiropractor is so nice and pretty 8) so its good and i hope my back gets better. There was alot of talk about my spine and all that and after that she did some kinda twisting my back and neck (whilst causing popping sounds 8O ) and then bam it was done! I have to go there regularly now which is awesome. :D

Due to a surprisingly quick session there, i decided to call Jamie up to tell him i wasnt actually gonna be that late. We met up at flinders street station and we shredded there for almost 2 hours. It was drenching outside, yet inside the station was SOOO fucking humid. It was insane. Jamie was playing fucking awesome with his drifters and that, looking very nice. I think that i sweated the most out of any session today..it was horrendous. After 10 mins i was already drenched and by the end of the session my wholoe shirt was wet..unbelievable humidity.

I think our session was good in that we both worked on our games, Jamie worked mainly on drifters and whirls whilst i worked on Whirls, a few drifters, blenders and torques.. It was frustrating at the start and i was annoyed i couldnt do stepping (lousy fucking baggy shorts  ) but it provided me a chance to work on non shuffle stuff which was good. My drifters are getting better - started some runs with hard drifter tricks and it just feels much better overall. Towards the end of the session i was working on whirl war 1 (Whirl > pdx whirl rpt drill) and it got better towards the end. I also am getting better at PDX torque, even though i only tried it a few times today..its just so easy to do once you watch Anz's videos and work on torques. So thanks to Anssii. Also broke my diving clipper record of 18 but couldnt break my ducking clip record.
A highlight for me in the session was managing to hit a blender and whirl drill which i was stoked with. Hopefully they will be easy as cheese soon.
After the session we went to maccas and eventually i came back home pretty earlier than expected (round 2:30ish) so i decided to have another shred

So my solo session..it was pretty good in a way..only played for 30 mins or so but it was good as progress. the highlight was when i bloody beat my strongside record with my FLIPSIDE 8O on this drill - OSIS > gyro clipper rpt. I had like 10 contacts easily and then dropped on an osis..
So i was pretty happy with my zooms on flipside. Then i thought why not i try Blender > gyro clipper and it worked well. PDx blender is soo fucking annoying still. It just means i have to drill and drill blenders and toe blenders and pdx whirls. The great thing about footbag is that theres ALWAYS scope to improve. SO then i worked a bit on spins and ended the session on a pretty high note..I also hit a new move but i dunno if its clean..i gues sill have to hit it cleaner next time

So now im sitting here, thinking of what more to write.

PLaying time today: 2.5 hours
Overall Sessions in year: 5 (3 shredding and 2 solo)
Overall Playing time for the whole year: 9 hours.
Average Time per session: 1.8 Hours - 1h 48 mins

School starts soon. I still have to finish my hw and get ready. Im Punped to have a great year at school. See you all soon.

peace,

Alex

So today was a pretty weird day...

I woke up at around 8am and said goodbye to my Mom cos she was going to Japan from today for a week. Sweet news is, she migggght come home with a video camera!! 8O Well anyways shes on the plane now, and after i said goodye i went to sleep.

I got up again at 10:30am, ate my breakfast (garlic bread) and then i was chatting on msn thinking "im gonnajust waste my day"...i still do have HEAPS of homework to do...but then suddenly..I FELL ASLEEP.

So at 2:45, i got a call from Jamieson saying he missed his train and screwed up the timetable completely  so he was keen for a shred...
So he came over at around 3:30 and we shredded for 1 hour in total...not enough but seeming the conditions were sooo humid its fair enough :P

So our session. It was good, we both mainly drliled the same stuff as yesterday. Jamie was drilling drifters and got 9 several times, and he also did some awesome pdx whirls. Whirl war 1 i saw him do pretty easily, so hes getting alot of progress since Aus nats.

I also worked on Pdx whirls alot. I feel like ive kinda gone worse since 5 months ago in terms of hitting them consistantly. But i think now i have better technique on BS, which is good. I spent most of the session doing pdx whirls, and i hit a cool drill with it which was relieving. Spinning out of pdx whirls are definately gonna be a good part of my game.

Overall it was a good session. It was fkn hot and humid but it turned out alright. Looking forward to drill more in the future.

Alex

Booya. Nice blog Alex.

Interesting how you are counting your session times. It'll be nice to see how many hours you shred in one year. Keep this blog on at least 'till then! :D

Janiwalkers are feeling damn good?

Try out Janiwalker > PS Whirl

Hahaha stupid fool Anz  Ill try that combo tomorrow.

I had a session today after not playing at all for the wholoe of this week due to alot of schoolwork  So i played it out today.

Todays session was a fucking awesome one, a SOLO sesh and i drilled a variety of things. These were blenders, spins, dives, ducks, basics, ps whirls, blurry whirls and pdx whirls in general.

Blenders was feeling better than normal. I managed to step out of both my blenders pretty confidently so its getting really solid. back to back blenders are much easier and soon i will try to get a new record..
Later on in the session i was going for a new blender trick and BAM.. hit it for the first time:D. Also pdx blenders are getting easier too and i hope to perfect it soon.

Spins and ducks were improving alot, esp. spins on my flipside. I did a really sweet drill of 8 contacts which i was so stoked about, and i can really spin quick on one side.

Basics were just like getting infinities and osai all back to full strength since i havent shredded for a while. They were normal.

PS whirls were the main highlight for me in this session. I previously absolutely ditched this trick for a variety of reasons but today i started doing them heaps and its really getting better. This trick is so exciting

Blurry whirls were also the BOMB today. They felt really easy to do and nonslurred as well..i dont know why but just today they were working perfectly. Will set a record for this soon....

ANyways im home alone tonight and hoping to watch some latenight tv and teaching Anz japanese...:)

To sum up:

Sessions: 8 (4shred and 4 solo)
Hours: 2.5
Total in the year: 13.5hours
Avge per session: 1.69 Hours

Hey Alex didnt your chiropractor tell you to not do any strenuous activity for the rest of the day after having an adjustment (when they crack your back etc)? Mine did, she says that by doing something that then puts alot of pressure on your back after an adjustment, will basically reverse whatever benefit you got out of the adjustment...

Dear blog...

Yesterday i posted about my session 2 times in which on both occasions mycomputer crashed :x

Anyways yesterday i had a session with Janis, PAt (FR), Brendan and Cameron. It was a good session until i got a crank in my right calf muscle :x
But overall i still got alot out of it. The rest are playing really well now, not long ago they just started footbag and now they can all do clipper and Janis almost hit Pdx mirage bsos! :D It was awesome to watch. I remember at one stage i was standing and watching all 3 practice their tricks and a sense of hapiness cycled through me..
Yesterdays session i schooled a variety of things, but more of a shred session really..i did a bit of atomic and footed some stuff on my weakside atomic which was cool, but other than that it was OK.

Played yesterday: 1 hour

Today's session was more intense which was good. Quite a few people attended today including Scott (!), Janis, Cameron, Pat, Boyall and Pat (FR). Pretty good now, considering a few months ago it was Dan and Scott and myself only...

AND I GOT A NEW PHONE TODAY :D fucking stoked, Thanks Cam!
Its Nokia 6280, 2 megapixels and can store 75 megs of music hehehe..

I schooled some drifters and blenders and some other stuff...Everything feels good now and i managed to FLUKE a trick BSOS which i was super stoked about. Also hitting a 6er to start a run was good too. I worked on flip pixie for a bit and it feels better, the bag is set straight sometimes which i like.

The rest were playing as well as expected. Janis was trying some insane tricks and Pat hit heel pendulum! Boyall was hitting mirages and so was the other Pat. Great, so much improvement! :D Cameron is even gonna start footbagging tomorrow too! Scott was getting so much better with his game and has got back drifters ducks/dives and a bunch of other stuff.

After that we all got some food from Red Silk chinese restaraunt which was good and cheap at the same time which doesnt happen alot.

short write up today, mainly cos i cbf after comp crashed 2 times

Sessions: 10 (6 shred 4 solo)
PLayed today: 2 hours
Total in year: 15.5 hours
Avge per session: 1.55 hours

So ive been playing quite a bit recently, im not motivated at all to play..but somehow i just am..weird

I havent had time and motivation to post here, so i will write only a little.

Friday - Shit house day, for a variety of reasons. I played ok but it was a frustating day for me which i would like to forget. Blenders are feeling worse but i guess it means you could school alot more.

30 mins

Saturday - Pretty cool day with Janis at fed square, i think we played about 2 and a half hours and then moved to pats house to play for about 30 hour there overall. Had an excellent Poker night and got drunk.. :P Seriously i should get more into poker but i dont ever wanna play for money.

2.5 hours

Sunday - The bomb, with Janis, Cameron and Scott. We started kicking at 2 ish and i ended up playing until 5:30. We all played well and busked which produced shit money.

3.5 hours.

IM hitting some pretty standard 5>5 in runs which is good i guess.. working really hard on Ps whirls and backto back blurry whirls which is feeling easy on somedays.

Total shred sessions:13 (9 shred, 4 solo)
Played this weekend: 6.5 hours
Total in year: 22 hours
Avge: 1.69hours

I had the best session of the year today on a school day, which was cool!

My day started off pretty badly and i had a very boring day at school.. :?
After school i met up with cameron and lawrence and got some free hungry jacks which was cool..

And i came home and had a long shred (for me anyways...looking in the direction of Nic  )

drilled the shit out of tomahawks and on both sides for once  it seems like today my flip tomahawk is my strong one..i did like a count thing and my percentage of flip tomahak is like 20 % better..which is really weird. Anyways in terms of ducking pdx whirls i had a very good session.
Other than that i drilled spins and drifters and atomics...they are all improving which is good to know. I love the fact that i have a balcony that i can shred on :D if i didnt then i dont think i would be playing at all..

Anyways..

Shred sessions: 14 (9 shred, 5 solo)
Played today: 2.5 hours
Total in year: 24.5 hours
Avge: 1.75 hours per session

I also figured im not posting much on modified anymore but i guess thats both good and bad...

Peace

Wow that post was really confusing. I didnt know whether you were actually serious or joking :P

ANyways i shredded yesterday from 6:45 - 10:30 whilst watching tv and all that so all round shred was probably about 2.5 hours.

Worked on stepping, whirls and doueble dex (barrage and reaper) and spins! Also both blenders were working much better yesterday
some interesting things these days:

- 2nd acc test 38/40!! WOOT :D
- 1 more week of school!
- Commonwealth games in 1 week. I seriously have no interest for that fucking event
- School is tiring.

Anyways!

Shred session: 21 (12 shred 9 solo)
Hours: 2.5
Total Hours: 36 hours
Avge per session: 1.71 hours
