2006: The Year of the overly-considerate driver.
Okay, this has happened to me 3 times already this year, including twice today in the same intersection. People for some reason have been deciding to stop so they can let you go, even if there's no stop sign. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS. You're messing up traffic, and in some cases this is very dangerous. While it may seem like a kind and benevolent gesture, it's not safe. The traffic laws are in place because they work.
Let's say I decide to take you up on your nice gesture. Oh look, there's a bunch of cars coming that are NOT stopping in the lane next to you, SMASH! I'm not in a huge hurry, please don't try to do my driving for me, just concentrate on what you're doing okay? Thanks.
Also, don't stop on a high-traffic fast-moving roadway for pedestrians either. These people came to a STOP on a parkway, to let some people cross, and not only could I have plowed into them, but the people they let cross could've been hit as well. Those people need to cross at the crosswalk, or a less busy roadway. You're endangering more lives than you're helping.

I know there's more, but that's all I can think of for now.

OMG I was just thinking that today. Yeah, I don't even have a problem with people driving SUV's. It's the fact that all of a sudden they need 2 LANES TO DRIVE!!!Iron Clad Ben wrote:SUVs and SUV drivers (in the city). Somehow they think that their giant vehicle permits them to drive like a total d-bag. Only a matter of time before you flip that thing and kill yourself along with everyone in there idiot!

i work at Publix (grocery store) in the Bakery Department. I hate when I answer the phone and someone wants to order a cake and they have no idea what they want...
or when i have to wait... and wait...for a parent to get there kid to say thank you when i give them a cookie just so i can say youre welcome.

-People who think the laws of commerce cease to exist when renting a movie. "Late Fees? Why should I have to pay those?" Or "but I'm a good customer, can't you just delete them" - If you're such a good customer you would have brought your movies back on time.
-People who go to action movies and sit there saying"As if that would happen!" Its an action movie idiot, if you wanted reality why the hell did you pay $12 bucks to see a James Bond movie - you're an idiot thats why!"
-People who read the sign: "Please place all returns down the shute" and then decide that they should leave their returns on the counter. It's insane, you watch them read it, look at the shute, then leave the movies on the counter!?
-People who let their 2 year olds answer the phone so all you hear is garbled drooling, and in the background some idiot asking "who is it?" as if the kid is going to somehow learn to speak just at that moment.
-People who yell questions at me while I'm serving another customer.
-People who think that "the customer is always right" means they can make ridiculous demands - "Sorry sir but we can't helicopter your movie to you, and feed you grapes as you watch it."
-People who ask me "What good comedies are out at the moment." How the hell should I know what you're going to find humourous in a movie. In fact people who ask me for recommendations in general. 5 times out of 10 they don't take what you recommend (If you knew what you wanted just take it) 4 times out of 10 they just want someone to blame if they don't like it.
-Other video store clerks. They're always so uptight.
