Sock review

Dollar store socks. Or more specifically, the bundles of six pair you get in the little Korean bodegas that sell stuff like bundles of socks and tshirts n stuff. They're like 3 bucks for 6 pair, pretty sweet deal. And they've always been the best socks for basically anything.

How bad do your lavers smell? And blisters???

One time I ran pretty far on a summer day without socks. I got a 2 inch blisters on the under sides of my feet. Couldn't really walk and the markings are still there. Not too off topic.

I really could probably almost care less about what socks I wear to play, but I wear the ones below the ankles.

I went rollerblading one day...and I decided that I didn't want to blade back up the huge hill to get to my house and took my blades and socks (so they wouldn't get dirty) off. OHHHH man, what a HORRIBLE idea. The blacktop scorched my feet so bad that my whole balls of my feet were two big blisters. I couldn't walk for like a week without curling my toes up and limping, and it still hurt.

Atleast socks were in the story...

Fine. I put my insoles in before I play and take them out when I'm done, giving them time to dry out. It's not hard to modify Lavers to where you can wear them comfortably without blisters. It's just a matter of creative moleskin and x-acto knife usage.

Thin, rippled below-the-ankle socks for me. I don't know the brand, because like Chris said I bought my socks for cheap at a bootlegged parlour in China.

i use those hanes girls athletic ankle socks... theyre cheaper than mens, and have more cusion, and dont stretch... the get kinda wet, but not too bad... an i wear jerzees black ankle socks.. they stretch kinda tho

You'd think socks are very simple and the cheaper ones will do just fine, and they do, but having higher quality socks are a must for me now. After using cheaper brand socks and then trying out nicer ones from a jogging magazine, it's really nice having socks that you love having on your feet. They lasted longer, felt better, fit better, breathed better, and of course the price was higher. I think they were something like these http://www.rei.com/product/47600856.htm , amazing thing is I still use the same socks and they're like 4 years old or something. I can't say the same for generic socks.

I just recently bought some under armour black socks http://www.sportsunlimitedinc.com/uaseasonlocut.html . So when I've got my generic wal-mart socks and then I see my Under Armour socks, I always happily grab my UA's. Maybe I'm just a bit sock happy, but things that you're going to be wearing hours and hours every day, for the rest of your life, you might as well get a nice pair.

I wear cotton Adidas ankle socks - they work fine I guess - they're cushiony but not too cushiony and they keep my feet dry.

I've looked all over for the perfect socks for footbag. I would rather not wear socks because I play better without them, but everyone complained that my shoes smelled way too bad. So I set out to find socks that were extremely thin, short, and absorbed sweat. After about 3 months of looking I found the perfect socks (for me that is).

They are underarmor streaker socks. They are made for runners but are perfect for footbag. Here they are.

As you can see they are pretty expensive, but I bought 2 pairs so I always have a pair to wear when I play. I'd highly recommend these to anyone.

I wear cheap ankle socks from the dollar store or from Target. Under Armour apparel is worth buying, if you're willing to part with the ca$h
