It's ok, I enjoyed it, and I did it again the next day for Toby lol .

Muscles were stiff as today, haven't been this stuff in a while, and for some reason playing footbag for 6 hours didn't miraculously heal my pulled groin... so I had a day off today :) by playing only 1.5 hours footbag.

Solo Session 13: 1.5 hours (Total since 24/01/06: 32 hours)
Drilled: Whirls
Notes: Started out shreding a little to warm up, hit ducking pdx mirage > fairy ducking butterfly and a bunch of fun strings and links I don't remember.
Today was all about whirls. I didn't have long to shred so focused on one component :). I hit ducking butterfly > whirl bs, drifter > whirl bs, infinity > whirl rpt from both sides, 8 contacts of whirl > alt clip rpt, whirl > spinning clip > whirl (one side) and pdx whirl on my flip side and my good side again for good measure which was very pleasing.
The biggest achievment for me today was whirl>whirl on my flipside! Means I am finally controling it well enough to set stright out of it. I also hit 6 whirls on my goodside which I don't know if i've done before?
Oh and I hit pdx tap just to piss Toby off because he was trying to learn nuclear ;).

Shreded today with the Japanese guys in the Octogon :D.

At the start I was feeling pretty average, and it was harly davidson day or something so there were like 500 friggen noisey bikes competing to make more noise all around us. Hard to concentrate with all the backfireing.
We went for lunch at like 2 and for half an hour when we got back, I had a good session.
Hiro was trying spanish fly and actually got close, and Koichi can hit fairy butterfly! I was very impressed :). Toby starts polytech on monday (the poor bastard) but gets to shred with the Japanese guys everday at lunch time! (the lucky bastard).
Toby hit his first SMOG, and it was set from flip pixie which is strange! Wow.
I decided for the last half hour to just try hit hard moves into strings. I hit my first far double pickup into a string, fairy ss double pickup into a string, dlo > double pickup into a string(so did toby actually lol), fog into a string, fairy ducking osis into a string, and blurry whirl again.
I hit pdx whirl > whirl on one side, I plan to hit whirl war one soon, footed drifter > whirl rpt, I will hit that next solo I hope. Whirls are coming along, yay.
Osis is feeling better because i'm trying to do it right, still much work to be done there though. I can never seem to hit spinning osis untill i've tried far too many times, but I hit it midstring out of a spinning clipper today, so this new osis technique must be workin :D

I hopefully can shred tonight for an hour!

Nice man, really nailing those pixies :)

Where do you find all your dance music? You always seem to be listening to good non commercial stuff. Don't tell me you buy it, I can't afford heaps of CD's at the moment :(

Well, today I discovered a hole in my Jeremy bag. I'm sure you're all aware that I don't play much, so I was pretty disappointed by that.

Hahahaha, join the club! Jeremy uses some kind of material that develops holes in pretty much no time at all. Might wana try not playing on rough surfaces and have some patcher handy.

I shreded tonight for like 10mins to make a video of my doubles for Anssi so he can advice me. I footed flip double pickup many times, but I am WAY off flip dso. I don't understand that because my flip inatw is CRAP and out is ok.
I made him a short video, but it is banned from public eyes, I was playing so crappily and my face STUNG becuase I had just shaved and was very sweaty :(.

I finnaly finished ripping my 15 tapes, 6 hours usable footage. I am going to bed.

I learnt about a good remedy while in Europe, and you can get it in Aus, i picked some up the other day from my local Chemist. Its this gauze type stuff, very thin material with like, breathing holes in it, and full sticky on the back like a bandaid. It sticks well and tends to bend with the bag material, rather than becoming like a crusty scab on your bag.

Wish i had a pic.. check out your chemist for similar stuff. I bought 1metre for $1.50

Only had a small/short session last night. I drilled clippers, ducks (a little) and spins.
Nothing major to report... I did get a nice clip>diving clip>spinning clip. The spin was on my flipside and was kinda sloppy, but it's my flipside, so it was cool! 8)

Hopefully going to see Bob Log III on Thursday night! That should rock.
(Bob Log was the soundtrack to the Jesse BCS video I did ages ago).

I haven't soloed in like a week, and I am away on a comp till saturday :( I really wana school!

I played 10 mins before bed last night and hit my first vortex. I hit it with a plant and then without so that it was actually a vortex ;). Only one side though :?.

Kicked yesterday with Hiro, Ryo, Simon and Toby. Was sweet to kick with Simon again, he doesn't practice anymore but he still schools my ass. I had a freeking terrible session because I had to cycle in so my legs were gone, and then I pulled a muscle. yay.

Then I cycled like 30 mins up a steep hill in the rain to give Katie the flowers I picked for her (Valintines day). She thought that was very romantic and then made me change my soaking clothes.

FINALLY put out competition results last night, took several hours of nutting at to get it perfect and represent all the judges decisions well enough.

Good to hear Toby bag is going well, Jesse. :)
