Yeah, I'm at it for around 2 months now and I still can't land a clipper.
Strings are fine, but only when you have mastered the tricks involving the string pretty well.
For me, I try to string the few moves I can when I can do them around 75% of the time. The reason behind that, for myself at least, is that when you school one trick alone, you aren't keeping track of what you do before and after the trick. It's usually succeeded trick, failed trick, then pick upp off floor, etc. When you try to do strings, it becomes more difficult, because you not only want to catch the bag after a trick, but you also want to set it quickly for the next trick in a string. Too much pause/delay time doesn't look good. From both your own perspective and others. And when you try to do tricks in rapid succession, things like balancing yourself between tricks and making a reliable set for the next trick are as key as landing the tricks in the string.
Thus, if you can't land the tricks relatively reliably, you are probably wasting time.
For the beginner player(which is what I am and will be for a while), strings should be more a matter of being able to keep yourself stable before and after a trick rather than performing the tricks themselves. Endurance, of course, is key. Just learn your legovers and try doing strings with them. You'll understand when you try doing 3 legovers in rapid succession. So far, I've done 7 in a row, and I'm doing more and more every week or so as my balance on my feet imprives.
If I said anything wrong, please correct me.
Also, you can't 'the' an opp toe or a clipper delay or an ATW. Be happy. You nailed it. Grats.

I have moved this thread to shred symposium because that is where conversation on what everyone is hitting goes.
Danial it is a great idea to post about how your game is going on modified.ca, a good way to do that is go into the "Blog" section and make your own thread in there where you can record your progress for everyone to read.
I have left a shadow so everyone knows where this went
