Modding Adidas Shell Toes?

Post by shredzilla »

Has anyone done this yet? They seem identical to lavers except there's that rubber shell on the toe. I was checking out a friend's pair the other day, and it seems like you could cut that shell right off, and then mod the inside like normal.

Adidas Superstar II

Think I saw this before, but couldn't find it in search.

Those do look similar, but i think just buying lavers would be easier to save you having to cut the rubber toe off.

Eh, nothing is too much for modders. We do tons of stuff to our shoes. I think the main reason I like them is cuz you could leave the outside alone and keep those stripes.

if you're down for stripes, adidas makes a shoe that looks just like lavers, has a slightly different outside material, and blue stripes... someone else will have to fill you in on the name, because it's slipped me, but lots of people have used them for freestyle.

orrrrrr you could just sew / draw stripes on your lavers. You could definitely do all your basics in those shoes you posted, but I think they're a bit heavy and bulky for freestyle. I've tried them.

I guess you are talking about Nastases ?! Ili Nastase is also a well known Tennis player.

I do not know if this shoes are still in production there are some french guys who own some pairs I guess.
