Most of the music I listen too I can usually find a couple songs around the net like on their website or music blogs. If I like these couple songs I buy it in some form of hard format. I don't really use any programs because it seems I can get a pretty good judge of quality based on a few songs and reviews and then I like actually buying the cd or whatever. Plus the cd's I listen to usually arn't to expensive.
Edit: Oh plus I forgot to mention if it's a CD that I want but is to expensive/popular I sometimes just get stuff from the library. It makes me feel hella felonious going to the library and all.
I use mp3 blogs and limewire pro to scout around for various songs, and I have a list. Once I buy my turntables, then im going to start a record collection.
i use limewire pro (downloaded the pro version off the free version ) i also use bitorrent and ysiforums (yousendit forums) they work very well - and free too
it´s a program, where you d/l directly from another user.
no splitted up files like edonkey. you search in the other users directory, what folders and files he has. then you can suck the files directly. maybe you´re quequed, but that´s another one...
