The half time show will be for next tuesday, i'm starting to prepare. Decent shred today, hit some phasing stuff for the first time and some long guiltless/tiltless strings i was planning for the show. Peace!

Yesterday went pretty well, but not as well as I would have hoped. I got there an hour early and started warming up, I was feeling really good and had some long stirngs going. As the time grew nearer to halftime i got more and more nervous. When they announced my name I got out there and started playing to my music (Deltron - Mastermind). There were so many people in the gym, it was unbelievable. I didn't feel nervous really, but my legs felt really weak and they wanted to give out on me. I dropped a lot of stupid simple tricks. I dorpped it about 5 times within a minute, and I could barely hit a ripwalk without dropping. Then I threw down some duckings and the crowd really liked that and some spinnings. The crowd was happy with what I did, but I knew I could have blown their minds if I was just playing my best. I was a bit dissapointed but everyone said it looked good and I did a good job. But really, Pat and Rich were the only ones that knew what was really up
. Overall it was a great learning experience and the easiest 20$ I've ever made. I would love to do it more in the future, and then I will really be prepared to throw down some nasty shit. PEACE!

Wow man, i feel for ya Will. Have you ever competed before? Cos its a similar feeling when you first get on stage in a comp. (any maybe a few times after that hahah!) I still get 'jelly legs' when i get up; you just feel all weak.
Its all good experience though, if you can keep getting the gigs.

I don't really get nervous competing at tournies that much, because the majority of people that are watching are footbag players, and they all know its hard to compete, and shit happens. so if i mess up i don't care. i get nervous if there is a huge crowd though.

Yeah he did cut it short, I only played for like a minute of my song. But on the other hand I was kind of glad, I kept dropping on the easiest stuff, I couldn't function correctly.
I have competed a lot of times, And I don't get nervous at competitions. I was just nervous because it was a crowd of people that didn't really know much about footbag and I didn't know how they would react.

Next time will be better though, I was talking with Mr. Roods, and it seemed like he wants me to do other games. Maybe next year I can hit up some soccer games and lacrosse games and what not. Then eventually I'll see if I can do a demo or something. It was a good learning experience, and I have gotten some good reactions for what I did hit
I didn't smoke before either, maybe that would have helped chill me out.
