The Last Shred

Post by Maraxus »

My last, my final, my concluding video before I deploy once again to the Middle East. I tried to make this one a little bit more well rounded with many of the editing skills I have learned from the great Sam and through trial and error. This was taken Super Bowl weekend and the weekend that Cameron turned 30. Cheers to you Cameron, God bless to Richy, take care Jason, and peace out Modified. I hope you enjoy, this is it for the San Diego footage you see for quite some time:

Sweet.

You don't actually need divx to play the file, just rename it to *.avi instead of *.divx, and you'll be good to go.

I wasn't digging the on beat colour (contrast?) changes...it was a little too distracting, and I definitely didn't even see the string the first time through.

Crook is insane.

You are insane.

Cameron and Richie are marginally talented. ;)

Thanks for making this video as a final farewell. You can count on the entire community hoping you get back safe.

Great video, Arron. Interesting editing techs. The regular to grey on and off part played games with my stomach, but other than that, I was quite stoked on it. I am sorry you have to go back to the sand box. My brother is on his way home from Tal Afar tonight, and he noted how cold it was getting.

Bring them shoes and them bags, son. Shred instead of watching dvd's, and shred while you hurry up and wait.

Peace

Thanks for the vid, Aaron. Fuzzyfly??? I dig that name. :)

Great shred by everyone. I am always given a lot of confidence when I see that Richie is still improving. I'd love to see him hit motion>janiwalker or fury>porque if he can fury yet.

Yeah man, I dug that video ! You always have such prime shredder content so it must be fun editing to that. To pick at the nitty gritty, I'd take out the color switching to the beat, and if anything, don't add it that long or just constantly on the 4/4 beat - throw it on some of the strong bass hits to accent a move or something. Also, any default page folding stuff, I'd nick that too. Just my taste, but if you love the page folds, make that shit origami if you please.

Other than that, I really liked the video and I liked the music choice too, sweetness. Your whirr's are too easy and your combos are just gettin a bit insane. As for shapeshifters big combo, hot damn, hot damn ! It's just really nice havin all 4 different styles in one video, very unique.

I wish you the best in the Middle East, hopefully you'll return back sooner than later !

wow, everyone looked sick in that video, that's my first time seeing cameron play in years! looking good... aaron, your style is looking great, I loved the surging and the double whirl moves. Renegade busting hard, that's great to see. So smooth and controlled...

oh yeah, that other guy was good, too...

Ha Ha. That's the first time I've seen myself play in years. Not too bad for complete off season for several months.

Thanks for making the video, that turned out pretty sweet. Glad I got to spend my 30th with my favorite people in my favorite location.

Hurry up and bring peace to the middle east man, We miss you when you are gone !

sweet video, the color changes were kinda weak i liked the zooms and the camera following the bag for a second. the best part is sam dropping in the background. :D absolutely insane shredding.
