Gardens-A British man has covered up his lewd garden gnomes with painted-on swimwear after police warned him he faced arrest for causing public offense. These gnome models in the town of Barnsley bared their breasts and buttocks, prompting complaints from the public. (Reuters)

Dad pull's gun after Alabama's defeat
College Football-An Alabama father, reportedly upset that the University of Alabama lost a double-overtime game saturday, allegedly pulled a gun on his son, put it to his head and pulled the trigger. According to a story in the Birmingham news the bullet narrowly missed the 20-year old Seth Logan, who now acknowledges that he had picked the wrong time to ask his dad for a car, sheriff's spokesman Deputy Randy Christian said monday. Joseph Alan Logan, 46, is charged with attemped murder and domestic violence.
