Footbag Representation in Toronto!!!
Footbag Representation in Toronto!!!
Recently, Adam Greenwood was representing footbag on York U campus in Toronto, and a member of the LOV (Leave Out Violence) crew checked him out and liked what she saw! She asked him to do a footbag demonstration at the upcoming Canadian National Breakdancing Championships at York, so Adam put out a call to East Coast freestylers to join him. Mosher and I answered, and we did a little impromptu freestyle demonstration for the crowd.
Some highlights include spinning infraction and barfly BSOS from Mosher, lots of Eclipse stalls from Greenwood, and pswhirl and Dyno from me... The crowd loved it all, they blew up (you'll see what I mean about Dyno as a highlight). We had a blast. I hope you guys enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed being there. I hope we can do it again...

Peace.

YES! I was starting to get afraid that I would never get to see this video!
That was one of the most amazing and intense moments of my life, I am so glad I have a video record of it.
This should be stickied and called "How to represent footbag and blow peoples minds".
Matt, you did SUCH a good job on the mic, it gave us alot more presence and I think the crowd got into it alot more because of that.
Spinning infraction??? what the shit? Ive never done that trick before, it just kinda happened as a fuck up, kinda cool though!
Your PS whirl was so exciting too matt.
What a good night!
Yaayyyyyyyy good times.

That video had the BEST vibe!! What a sweet performance! You were awesome, Matt -- and all of your guys shredded SOOOO well. I get so nervous doing shows like that. I found myself cheering and clapping all by myself in my room because it was so awesome
It's amazing how you can talk and shred at the same time like that under so much pressure -- super props!
That was funny when they freaked out over the dyno -- the other moves I would expect cheers, like ducking and spinning, but the dyno was so random! Adam had this one combo where he did like two eclipse-stall moves in a row and then stepped out of it -- I was so floored! And Tom's barflys and shuffle, and Matt's 5s and everything.
Great video!!

Thanks for all the posts so quick, guys, I appreciate it
I just hope people enjoy this video...
Mike, hopefully I can get that clip in a few weeks, Adam has to wait until the DVD of the event is released before he can get it, apparently.
I hope I can do this kind of thing again soon.
Eric, thanks a lot bro.
I had a blast doing it. Some people get nervous in front of crowds, I just get all pumped up and ready for shreddy!!! Knowing how awesome footbag is and how amazing it looks gives me huge confidence when I go to represent it. I love footbag.

That's what its all about. Represent.
I totally felt that vibe like no other, crowd loved it, players played well. Few drops here and there, but no biggy. Those eclipses were held so long, I've never seen them like that, sweet !!! It reminded me of a European type of show, and believe me, that is a huge compliment. Props to all of you.

More C4 please <3
Waayyyy to go guys!
Mad props for at super solid stage show! The audience loved what you threw at them, and you defiantly gave them the shit. Watching that video make me miss you guys a lot and I defiantly want to meet Greenwood one day!
Being part of a performance like this, is the ultimate adrenaline kick. It has got to be healthy for players as well as the audience.

dude that was sweet! Matt, you did an awesome job on the mic! Nice bsos barfly mosh, I bet you were super stoked to hit that on the spot! It made me nervous just watching the video because I didn't know what was going to happen next. Props guys!
btw, I think they liked the dyno so much because you were perfectly turned towards the crowd so they could see it the whole way. just a thought
