A question or raw footage from Boston for ghost editor?novid

Post by slapdash21 »

haha, great thread title. alright, here is a question. why, when i import and of my recent videos (taken on a fairly crappy small camera) into windows movie maker, and subsequently add the footage file into the timeline, result in an error, must close program message and shuts it down. everytime. so i downloaded a new program, free online. SAME PROBLEM. i cant understand it. if anyone else has experienced this, help me out.

OR!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i have recently found my dad's reasonably small digital camera and started taking some half tri-pod\half not footage of myself, and am having difficulty in editing it (*cough* see above) and was wondering if anyone would care to edit this beautiful footage for me if i provided them with the raw footage and a song. see, the benefit the editor gets is helping to produce some of the best footage seen in Boston in MANY years, as im not incredible by any standard, but i have improved a good bit lately and this is certainly footage worthy of editing. ESPECIALLY because i already picked out the BEST song that would fit my...coming out movie, and filmed plenty of interesting video to go along with it. some of you already may know the song...dont want to spoil it, but its rubber band man by TI, which is awesome for footbag.

SO, if anyone, or even multiple people are interested (see, we could have multiple people take the same footage and song and see who can edit a better video...)...let me know?

I grew up in Boston, so to see a video like this would be totally wicked awesome. What spots did you film at?

some stuff at my house, some stuff in my school bathroom (yeah, im serious...this is real quality stuff), some stuff down at copley (downtown) and one string down at harvard square (cambridge area) im actually not totally done, but i have 10 minutes of footage that has 30% of it being video-worth. plus slow-mo and stuff.
