While I have not used this particular chain-mail footbag, I have owned a chainmail bag in the past.
It was not an ideal bag to play with. I liked having it clipped to my key-chain, and I sometimes actually used it, but it did not kick/bounce especially well, and it could in fact actually be painful to kick. It wasn't painful right away, but after a number of kicks, after playing for a little while, well, it hurt.
Basically, the chainmail footbag is more of a novelty. If you're a real footbag enthousiast you might want a chainmail bag in your collection, but if you're just looking for a bag that plays well, chainmail is not the way to go.
There are a couple of advantages to the bag: it still plays okay on a gusty day. The wind just doesn't blow it all around because its heavy but not solid. Also, as the copy says, they're durable, they won't break open easily, and you can kick with them in wet and dirty areas without worry. Despite these advantages, though, you probably just won't want to use the thing that much because of its poor playing characteristics.

for circle the "dream" and "sipa sipa" and "legend"are good bags, i think the legend is awesome for circle kicking. for freestyle mr sandbags and 32 panel handstitched bags are the only way to go (sand for a beginner). the chain mail hack pretty well but they lack a lot of bounce, and forceably kicking it for hours on end is most likely gonna cause knee problems w/ very many inside kicks.
