I know this has been posted time and time again, and this must get tiring, but any help for a beginner would be greatly appreciated.

first off lavers baby,or g-unit g6's also work very well and a mr sandbag havent used one but am ordering one tomorrow every says if u look around mr sandbags are the thing to get for starters but welcome to modified wut u using as of now

I personally own about a hundred Mr. Sandbags, but I think they're too light, I've had to put ceramic pellets in mine. And I'm ordering New Balance 520's because i have a shoe size of 15, and footbagging shoes don't cater to that kind of "big-ness".

I would highly recommend you show up to this event. The combined wealth of knowledge and experience in the plethora of players attending is bound to teach you more than anything. If you love it (why wouldn't you?), I am down to kick pretty much all the time, and teach you how to get better.

I really don't have much to add, but for real, you gotta go to CSS and start kicking with the guys in Denver. Those are the single best ways to get better.

Yea, I live on 5th and Clayton. You know, I might have seen you at Wash Park before. I was there like a week ago and was talking to some shredders, and they mentioned CSS. I go to Denver Academy.

The explanation for that is: my old gym teacher in 8th grade decided to try to teach circle kicking as a way for the kids to integrate into social groups and she ordered a ton of Mr. Sandbags. That session didn't last long because kids started pelting the "nerds" with the footbags. She stopped the instruction and I asked for the leftover Mr. Sandbags. The only problem is that when I moved to Denver, CO about two years ago, from California, I put them in a box and they're somewhere in my attic, ,still in California, waiting to be unleashed upon the world. Also, a lot of them have tiny ceramic beads in them because a few were too light. And that turned out to work pretty well, though thet wear out faster than normal. So, until I go back and reclaim them, I'm still on the lookout for more. The only problem is that I'm only good for cirlcle kicking at the moment. But the ceramic pellet-ed Mr. Sandbags work well for that.
