¡Hola!
I just wanted to let everybody know that there are some footbaggers in Mexico city!!
I'm there since almost a mounth now... I sent some emails to the clubs registred on footbag.org, without really thinking that I'll have answers! but I had answers! and good ones!!!
So, we went for a shred Saturday on the huuuuge central place of Mexico City! They are 4 guys, and a girl!
One of them (who is 27, and playing for around 2 years) is playing titless easy! With good strings of 15/20 contacts! Good delays! He hit a ducking clipper easy and clean! reverse whirls, osis...
An other 27 years old guy is pretty good too! Good delays!
Then, 2 younger guys (17) can also hit clippers, atw, leg over, and almost double Atw!!! They have learnt to do clipper>clipper same side easy!
And a girl, who kicks more than do delays... she can hit toes, but that's it...
Thay play with those huuuuge Guatemaltec bag! It is so hard to do delays with them! but things are changing!!
Well, i just wanted to share this with the community! There is freestyle in Mexico, and they'll be more before I leave!!
Thx to footbag for making me meet those nice people, and share footbag with them!!
They speak english, so I hope they'll come here for videos, and ask advices etc...
Gueyes, si me leyeran, contestan!!

It's really exciting to see new scenes popping up where no freestylers have been before. Especially when it comes to new countries!
This is a little off-topic but maybe it's time to re-evaluate this sport's position in possibly getting into the Olympics. The last time modified had a major discussion about it was in this thread about a year ago. As far as I can tell, it has the most useful information on the topic.

Hey!
well, my footbaggers friends told me that they saw 3 amercian guys in the metro (At the other side, so they couldn't talk to them... and they are a bit shy..)), wearing a footbag shirt, and lavers (the 3 of them!)! On of them was really tall (like chad I think...) so does anybody know who are those guys!?
It's my last week here in Mexico city before to leave for Cancun, and calm beaches (to escape this gringo springbreak stuff)... so I just wanted that everybody know that local footbaggers are great! Everybody who come here has to contact them...
They have learnt a lot! One of them now can hit smears, pixie clipper, diving clipper, reverse whirls, pdx mirage, spins.... and an other one is doing good!!
They just ask that people come here and teach them some stuff! They are SUPER nice people, I had a great time with them! they made me discover so many really crazy places in the city!
Contact Christian (suuuuuuuper cool!) [email protected]
or Cesart [email protected] (rush on this forum now!)
They also have learnt to stitch 32'!!! which change their lives! cause to shred with crochet bags, it's not that easy!!!
hasta luego!
