Just wondering if anyone had pointers for eclipse. I figure skooling hop over is a good idea. Any advice is welcome.
Swirl help is also greatly needed and would be appreciated.
And now, the waiting game.

It's not really a swirl if it's on the inside. That's just an around the world inside stall. Thanks for the advice, though.Troyson wrote:i cant help you out with eclipse but this might help you out for swirl. i found that learning inside swirls in both directions help alot..they help you get the motion down. when im trying to do swirls if i do it from inside first, when i try it in clipper i get the dex much easier. hope this helps.

Help with eclipse
If your ever going to land the eclipse i recamend to start bringing the support leg over the delaying foot as soon as possible. I recamend to school your hop overs first, then move slowly to doing it mid air. The key to geting the trick is to stand up in an upright posture and lean a little foward.

I've been able to do the hop-over since I was 8 yrs. old...but I remember what kept me from doing it was the fear of busting my ankle in half if I screwed up in the worst way - made me instinctively move my setting foot out of the way of my support leg, murdering the hop over. What I'm saying is maybe the main reason the people that can't do it can't do it is because of the instinctive fear of BREAKING something hehe.
I know this is late, but to readers herein...
I used to do these tricks, and when I did the biggest thing was skool hop overs, wraps, insides, and clippers (clippers are not as important as the others). Think of the move as a way to skool clippers. Doing the different inside > clipper transtions helps big time. A good tip from me would be: Catch on the inside>hop>when in the air, drop your stalling foot close to the ground without touching (lowers jump height), and try to keep your inside foot where it started make the jump move your body not your foot> and now you can set out from clipper.
WARNING!! I busted both my ankles really bad back in march 2006 doing flying hop overs. I lifted my stalling leg to early and landed my jumping foot on the inside of my shin, thus twisting my jumping leg on my other leg, then because my stalling leg was already turned it got slamed to the ground twisting it too. And to let yall know.. two busted ankles at the same time really really sucks. Oh and I weigh 210 lbs, that helped suck too.

Maybe practice flying inside stalls.
Where you stall and then set the bag all while you're in the air. It's basically an eclipse without the "dex". I think that's the hard part, 'cause most of us never do flying stall tricks, or flying tricks at all. I've actually been playing with eclipses too. Hopovers definitely help.
