so, my spring break starts march 3rd and i cant think of a better way to spend it than to play footbag. duh.
so im going to be going up to TO probably on the 4th or 5th of march pending interest for a mini jam. those of you who made it to my spring break get together last year (camille, andrew, i think jon haber made it, adam greenwood, another guy who i cant remember sorry haha) know that i have a hooked up room to shred in that will comfortably hold 2 or 3 circles. there is also a pool and hot tub that is open for any of my guests to use. ill also have the condo all to myself so if you want to bring beer etc. its prefectly cool to bring it along and we'll have a little players party... hint hint.
im trying to generate a little interest here, hoping to bring the toronto area footbaggers out of the woodwork (jorden, johnny?), and hopefully bringing a rochester player or two with me (matt, aric, chris??)
this is obvioulsy 2 weeks before the little rochester jam thats going down, but ive made it a habit to go to toronto over spring break, even if i go alone, and no one wants to shred with me, ill be there so please respond if you're interested!!!!

I can probably represent for that. But I don't want to drive. I will if I have to but I HATE driving downtown.

I didn't get into Toronto until midnight! thanks for not waiting for me!Camilleon wrote:And screw you Tom, I need no prodding to play. Where the hell were you Thursday???
But seriously, you are the one that most often laments that Toronto players are lazy sometimes.
You need ZERO prodding to play, you're the keenest!

Thanks, my only problem is that you're generalizing.
For the record, Paul Toews was struck with horrible injuries. He is certainly not lazy, in fact, it takes a lot of courage and strength for him to NOT play. I think we all know how difficult that is... Andrew had a lot of problems with his ankle too, and school got in the way for a lot of us. Everyone else is either a closet shredder, not online or well known, or they went away to school........OR they are fucking lazy.
But I'd say that the core shredders here have had many obstacles....
and being generalized is not fun.

Hey Paul, what's the story on parking? I drive a small crappy car that I don't feel like having towed.

ok, so as of now, im coming up on the 4th, whenever i can get myself on the road, so i expect to be in TO no later than 8 pm, ill leave rochester no later than 5pm so there should be no problem getting there by then. id actually like to leave at noontime and be there at 3 or 4 in the afternoon, but my house is having a party the night before and im trying to be realistic.
actually, im not a huge fan of parties and i dont drink much anyway, and unless its the biggest rocker ive ever been to, i might head out to T-dot on friday night. ill post when ive finalized my plans though.
so saturday afternoon/evening is the aim for shred. let me know what y'all think.
as for parking, ill have to check with my dad about that, how many cars are we expecting? i have my own parking space and one more in the garage.
let me know people!
