Hi, new here.

Post by nhancakes »

I'm 17yroldmale, junior in highschool.

I decided to register when I saw one of Peng's bags up for sale, and I just had to get on it because I read such rave reviews for them. I started "hacking" a month ago while in driver's ed class. And I picked up on the sport of footbag a couple weeks ago. I've gone through a couple of 32 panel sandbags, which were good i guess, but I had nothing to compare them to. I lost one of them, and the other one got taken up by some obese art teacher, so I was in the market for a new one anyway. I don't have shredding shoes yet, but those might be in the horizon. I currently play in a pair of leather Diesel shoes, more fashionable than practical for footbag atleast. But I tend to play barefoot in my house, and that's where I get the majority of my practice.

I'm terrible at toe stalls, and that might be due to my shoes, but I can nail clippers pretty well on both sides. Inside and outside foot stalls I can nail steadly as well. Besides those, I can kick it and that's about it. Just stay on the grind and try to keep improving.

So that's about it; just wanted to introduce myself. I'm wondering if there's any active users here that play footbag in the DFW,tx area. I saw a Dallas Footbag Club at footbag.org, but their site seems to be outdated, like 4 years outdated.

That is exactly the mindset you need for this game.

Keep up the good work..cut up those leather diesels until your Lavers come in the mail (after you order them, that is..cause you should).

I tried modding my Adidas TR9s today just removing stuff here and there.
I posted pics of them in the Postyourshoe thread in Bags&equipment. They're really comfortable and light. I'm sure they'll work until august when I'll buy new shoes for the upcoming school year.
