They are an annoyance IMO. The TRUE forum/BBS lurker uses ASCII.

I disable them by default.

Thankfully, I don't see pictures when I am on Lynx.

Lynx eh? I always thought that'd be cool to use, but I couldn't get it to compile under windows, and could never find a precompiled .exe of it. Maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough. You don't get a mouse under Lynx either do you?

i mean...using smiley is ok,but the collection here is rather laughable compared to this one my buddy put together on his forum...heres a link,it works like modified,just click on more smylies!
